I bought this to control my Christmas lights.I'm using the smart app which is really simple to use, adding extra devices and editing names so you which devices your controlling.Setting timers to turn on and turning off and setting different times for different days or switching off/on manually.It works perfect never fails

"Great Smart PlugsI bought a smart plug a month ago and has been very surprised how well they work! I also liked the plugs led ring lighting which can be changed to different colors and intensity or it can be turned completely off.The plug does have a manual on/off button on the side. I did some simple testing, I unplugged it and then moved it to another location and plugged it back in. Within seconds it was able to reconnect to my network and was fully functional.You can check the status of the plug on your smart phone (on or off) and control it remotely. So far I am happy with the Smart plug and it work just as expected."

Would have given this a 5 star if it was quicker to work out. My internet settings where all correct except not on auto, which is what it took to finally install after 3 apps. But Smart life app still doesn't work for me, I had to use Jinvoo Smart (sister app).Now I've finally got to play about, it is definitely important not to call it "night light" if you have a Google phone or connecting it to a Google device as it will put the screen on night mode. It's fun to play with the colours, and works really well so I can now turn my lights on without worry. Problem is it's not bright enough for the children's bedroom, but it may be due to where the plug socket is as it's bright enough for my bedroom.Overall, for my first ever smart plug, I am happy

Great idea we have purchased the Amazon echo and are finding what it's all about this purchase is for our daughters room so we can control when her device/tv goes off. Link it all in via the app. Easy set up.

I bought this as I wanted to control a light remotely without having to bend over to turn it on and off. It connects to the smart life app and does allow me to control the light from the app. Will definitely be using it to control the Christmas lights when the time comes. I also like the fact that it has a USB port for charging phones. It’s always nice to have an extra charging port in the house. Happy with the purchase.

Compared to my previous, non-smart Phillips night light, it's not as bright. I like to use it at the top of the stairs where it's quite often too dark, so some extra oomph would go a long way. As a night light, however, it is excellent. Works great with Alexa and has schedule setups. Love the socket option also, doesn't waste it!

I got this plug and set up easily with control by mobile App or Google Home voice. I use to control my LED strip lighting. However I noticed that there is very low dimmed light even after the plug is controlled OFF. Obviously a very low voltage is still connected to the lighting even though it is supposed to be OFF. It could be very dangerous. I'm not sure it is the design problem or it is a faulty plug. I'll certainly not recommend this. :-(Cheuk

It was easy to hook up to the app and set up to control timers ect from your phone. the nightlight isn’t as bright as expected and the plug is really tight I thought I’d got my tv plug stuck in it! Hopefully it’s just because it’s new though (** just realised my plug had a cover on the top pin 🙈
