sadly,this day & age you do not expect high quality furniture, sometimes even if you pay a lot of money it is still mostly veneer glued on wood... but is a very nice bench!! I bought this for my shower. It is easy to assemble with real screws not those stupid things that you pound in the hole then try to "lock" the screw part into it, it is heavy duty, it is easy to move around, it does not slip on tile, so far the finish looks good after water splashes on it. Some reviews said it is on the "yellow" side and it is but that is what you should expect with natural wood and semi transparent stains... the natural oils in the wood will show through some. I love this bench! I would recommend it if you are looking for a quality piece of furniture.

This is a very attractive, well built bench. The height is wonderful. The length is perfect for my shower and it is heavy so as not to slide on the wet floor when in use. I highly recommend this produce

Even the shower can look elegant with this stool. It looks like it cost a lot more than it did. It is heavy and would support a lot of weight. I am going to buy another for the shower in our mountain place.

I needed a shower bench in the master bathroom of my newly renovated condo. I searched all over the net for a white one. (Teak in dark colors is very common.) I finally found this one. I was looking for one a little more contemporary than this style, but the color was more important and this was the closest I could get to what I could see in my mind's eye.Another Amazon reviewer noted that the finish on theirs had flaked off over time, but either the manufacturer has corrected that in their production line or there was some other problem. I see no way that this finish would ever flake. The bench is very sturdy and the finish is a whitewashed one that looks very stable. I don't anticipate any problems with it.

Received Coastal Vogue Teak Shower Bench today and the box was opened on both ends and pretty beat up, which I was completely shocked to see all items were in the box; however, the bench was damaged in several locations, along with chipped wood, and paint coming off. The underside of the lower shelf of the bench was partially damaged and looks as if part of the wood cracked. I love the look of the bench and it would be beautiful if the damages weren't for all the damages. The item may have been packed without the damages but who knows, like I said the box was open on both ends and was pretty beat up! So sad that no one looks on for each other or each other's things. It is heart breaking when you pick and item, wait for the item and then receive a damage and/or defective item. At this point I will keep and hope it holds up as I have no energy to ship back! :(

Great bench. Perfect for our shower. It is sturdy and the color is exactly as expected. Delivery was fast and no problems. The bench can be sat on plus the shelf below is great for our soaps and shower stuff. We are very happy!

This bench is superior in every way. It is beautiful, heavy and very well made. I could not be more pleased.

My elderly mother loves this shower chair. It fits perfectly in her shower. Easy to assemble

For this price, was dissapointed that 3 of the 8 countersink screws would not countersink thus sitting on the top of the wood & not flush or countersunk which they were supposed to be. I didnt buy this bench in order to fix a problem, or start drilling screw holes! Very poor job of drilling for the screws leaving a gap now between the pieces of wood that were supposed to be joined. Additionally, matching plugs could be added instead of leaving a hole with a screw.
