MilwaukeeM18 18-Volt Lithium-Ion Brushless Cordless 1/2 Inch Compact Drill/Driver (Tool-Only) 2801-20

Bought to replace a Milwaukee brush design drill that I destroyed by drilling forty 1 1/2 holes through 2 inch oak. Not blaming Milwaukee or the drill I pushed the drill past the limit to get the job done and I think the drill did fine and held up to the abuse well enough.I like the smaller compact design and the power of this drill. The battery life seems better with this drill and the overall quality is on par with all Milwaukee products. No complaints or issues, good value for the tool only price paid if you are already in the Milwaukee ecosystem and own a few m18 batteries.Note to self: For oak and large holes go to the garage and get a bigger drill instead of destroying your cordless.

So, being a huge fan of the M18 product line, I have to say, this is a pretty nice drill.I got this for my buddy who just bought a new house (As a housewarming gift).. After inspecting it and attaching a battery and feeling it's performance, I almost didn't want to give it up!I have somewhere around 10, M18 tools, and one M12 tool. So far they've been great workhorses and very well designed.I have one of the older Drills/Impact/Driver drills (M18) and what surprised me about this Drill/Driver is how compact it is. Really nice size, so probably easier to get into tight places. Brushless design allows for more compact look at and feel. Plenty of torque and does the job well, nice it's a 1/2" chuck as well.Great product, high recommend.

The Milwaukee M18 Fuel Drill is a must have tool for the weekend warrior and the professional alike. Battery performs as advertised. The drill is lightweight, but packs plenty of power and torque. The exterior is rugged and well built. I highly recommend this drill.

Was a Makita guy for years and their stuff is still ok good, but Milwaukee has surpassed all their competitors with durability, quality and longevity. No doubt about it.We just finished a 40x60 pole building, not one (1) nail in it, "everything" screwed, metal and all. Everything from big construction lag screws to bolts to the fine finish screws, all done with "(1) one" 1/4 drive impact milwaukee gun and it is still ticking, a bit rattly but has a lot of life left in her.Impressive! is all we could say.

Compact n powerful! Great Bang for the Buck!

This is an excellent Milwaukee cordless tool. Better (stronger) than the one I replaced. I'm seeing negative reviews about this tool because it comes without a battery or charger. This is a TOOL-ONLY or BARE-TOOL buy. Neither Amazon nor the seller represent it any other way. If you're making this purchase as a gift for somebody make sure that person is already invested in the Milwaukee cordless platform or they are either going to have to return this or go and buy a battery and charger which is not the most cost effective way to do this. I made this purchase because the drill I had was dropped into a pool. It was submerged for over an hour before I realized what had happened. The battery was fine but the drill control board got ruined so this TOOL ONLY purchase was just what the doctor ordered. I didn't need the battery and charger. If you do need those this is not for you. If you don't need those you'll be getting a new, Milwaukee OEM quality, bare cordless drill that you can plug into your Milwaukee platform using the batteries and chargers that you already own. The only knock I might have on this purchase is the time it took to get. It didn't come in a hurry so if you're pressed for time on a job, move on and pay more.

Great Drill light weight compact in size lots of power.

Powerful, great hammer drill. Love the versatility of speed and power variations. I own two of these. One for work, one for home.
