Most informative read at a really good price!
Although this book was initially written nearly 20 years ago, it is still VERY informative. The basics of Air Conditioning and Refrigeration do not change over time and the laws of physics do not change.......... period.

Not as expected
Beware that this is a 7th edition, copyright 1996 version. Although you may be able to learn from it, there are several changes and improvements on AC units during the last 19 years which you will have to get from a later version. None of the other reviewers seemed to notice this particular issue with this book, and while Amazon does point out that there is a "newer version" available at about $85, it's not just "newer." It's a LOT newer. They show the 18th edition. The very latest is actually now the 19th edition, which has been released recently.
