My security cameras have better IR range .
Says long range , i tried my night vision scope , night vision monoculars and a night vision camcorder with this IR . About 30-35 yards is as far as i could pick up the IR light with it focused on long range . Focusing the light the head is loose wobbling moving what light you do have all over. Will be returning .

Don't buy
Bought to use with a SightMark wraith night vision scope. Reviews online said it was good for long range shooting. This thing is horrible. The IR light that came with my scope is 1/4th the size of this and is 10 times better. May be useful if you're shooting inside 75yards but that's it. Don't waste your money.

Works well with handheld night vision.
Works well and extends the range of night vision a little. Not as bright as I was expecting but a little better than the built in light.
