Very good for the price.
These are good temporary colours. Bright & good fun. Worth practicing a couple of times to get the hang of quick application. The combs are good through mid to long hair (do a small strand at a time & keep it away from the top of the comb which pops off to remove/replace the stick. It can catch the hair). Use the stick directly on the roots & then a regular comb to pull through. It can get sticky & a little clumpy if you put too much on but patiently combing through with a regular comb will solve that. Worth doing in the bathroom & with an old towel. There's not a lot of mess & this makes it much easier to contain & clean. Washing out easily. Really like this product.

Ok, require light coloured hair
I liked that the product is easy to use for a child. The chalk like substance does break up so be gentle. The natural hair was dark so the colours were not effective. It would be interesting to see a review from someone with blonde/light coloured hair

Vibrant colour and easy to wash out
I brought these for my 10 year old daughter to try as she had a fancy dress party this weekend. Unlike spray hair dyes that I’ve previously used on her hair these were mess free and so easy to use that I let my daughter loose on them to do her own hair which she loved. She is very fair so the colour was quite vibrant. She did get some on her skin which came off really easy with a bit of simple eye make up remover. No running of colour like you get with the sprays. I was worried as to how easily it would come out but came out first wash. My daughter is very happy with these.

Epic parenting fail!
Bought theses for my daughters, with the bright idea that we could use these all together and it would be beautiful and we would take smiley pictures and make lovely memories. I was wrong, very, very wrong! The adverts show beautiful rainbow hair created using these, easy to use, hair chalks. They claim, they are easy to use, wash out and create the magical unicorn/mermaid effects that small people love!I ordered some, waited all weekend and they came yesterday. Two very excited girls! My 9yo washes her hair especially this morning as she wanted beautiful, shiny, rainbow hair. After lunch we all head to mummy's room with plastic gloves and 10 colours of hair chalk. My 5yo goes first, hair suitably tat free and damp. Colours chosen I start to apply lovely pink chalk on a tiny comb. All is going well till tiny comb decides to eat 5yo's hair and pulls out a rather large clump of hair. 5yo is not overly concerned she wants unicorn hair and that's it. I very carefully continue and the top layer of her hair (thankfully I didn't do all of her hair!!) is beautifully covered in 5 different colours. She goes off to dry and 9yo steps up with 6 colours and a plan.At this point I look down and notice small pieces of coloured chalk on the carpet. Attempting to pick them up only results in it being smooshed into my carpet creating beautiful unicorn rainbow carpet! Husband is going to kill me! But we continue.9yo's hair took longer and needed more chalk with it being darker and so she lost many small clumps of hair to the tiny combs of doom, but again she insisted she wanted beautiful rainbow hair so I completed her hair! Then it was mummy's turn. Realistically mummy was in work the next day so I was always going for subtle, I painstakingly drag the horrible little combs through just the ends of my hair and a little at the front. The cleanup after all three of us was massive, the carpet was a wonderful mess of coloured splodges and smudges, and my dressing table looked like a rainbow had thrown up all over it!5yo returned to get her hair 'combed through' ready for the beautiful rainbow hair promised on the box and by a stupid naive mummy! Could I get the comb through her hair? No. Not even a little bit!! Imagine toothpaste rubbed across the child's entire head and left to dry, that was how bad this stuff was! With much crying, wincing, apologising and even more bits of chalk flying everywhere I gave up. 5yo's hair looked vaguely presentable as long as you don't touch it as it was sticky as hell and felt like straw! 9yo now looking terrified sits down and braces herself. By now 2 combs and 2 brushes are lovely shades of blue and pink, I'm exhausted and both girls are completely traumatised. I realise I still have my own colourful birds nest to deal with! After 5 minutes with a few tears of my own I give up and stick it in a bobble.Adding insult to severe head injuries, most of the colour brushes away leaving 5yo with pink and green stripes at the front and me and the 9yo with faded colour that looks like we couldn't be bothered doing it properly. We now have the joyful proposition of all three of us needing our hair washing and the fact that even though I scrubbed it with a baby wipe and then with carpet cleanwe we still have an amazing technicolor carpet. (Husband going to divorce me!)So our plan for beautiful rainbow hair disintegrated into an afternoon filled with brush related torture and a vow to never again touch hair chalk!

Temporary hair dye
Good temporary hair dye and it’s not that messy which is a plus. This item is great for trying out new colours in your hair as a trial. This is for kids and adults, I love how the colour is in a comb which can easily be applied but then it takes a little longer for the colour to go over dark hair, but other then that it’s a great temporary hair dye. Just have to wet your hair and apply the comb through the hair, you can keep it light or keep going over it to brighten the colour.

Perfect temporary hair colour!
These are amazing! For someone who needs to have "professional" looking hair using these mean I can have a fun hair weekend. I feel like I'm living the McFly song about the girl with five colours in her hair!Really simple instructions and easy to put in my hair, it doesn't transfer into fabrics etc once it's on my hair. It washes out, I always do two shampoos and this seems to work well to remove the temporary colour. Love these!

Good for a hint of colour
These are great for adding a touch of colour but to get it like the advertised picture is nigh impossible. If able to do this I would imagine having to add the colour repeatedly for a few hours and that amount of effort would put me off using it. Washes out easily and in fact fades quickly during the course of the evening.
