High quality live picture, easy set up, can be set up to be used with Amazon echo show.
The media could not be loaded. I recently purchased the Reolink 5MP WiFi camera due to a fault with another camera that I had up. The faulty camera was 1080p, the difference of the picture quality is amazing. The zoom lens on the Reolink does a good job especially the auto focus. I can read number plates from quite a good distance in live view along with the still images sent through on email alerts. (Dependant on how far you have your zoom camera, the closer the better.) nighttime images are also quite good as the IR lights push out quite a distance and quite evenly.I have a 128gb SD card installed and in one day of use, I have used 3gb, this will give around 43 days of motion recording, depending on how many triggers you are getting. The camera will only record motion, which I’m happy with as you can adjust the length of the recording time from 15 seconds 30 seconds and 1 minute. The triggers are sent through your app, and you can set up an email delivery to receive a still image or a video clip. You can also set up the amount of times the motion alert to your email will be sent I have it set to send every 30 seconds if motion is still detected. The still image is as the 5MP image seen on live view, whereas the video image is of lower quality, this is the same as for the app playback from the sd card. I must admit I was disappointed with this as I was expecting the recorded files to be of the same quality as live view. The set up of the camera was the most easiest one I have ever done. Download the reolink app, plug your cat5 cable into the camera and router, plug in the power and wait for it to boot up. The camera comes directly on line, where you can the configure the name of the camera, to the picture quality, motion sensitivity and blocking areas of the image you don’t want to be triggered, for me it’s the hanging baskets and hedges.Setting up for email alerts for a novice is quite difficult. If you have a gmail account it is somewhat easier. You can set up an app password through your google account, there are help guides in the Reolink app to assist you with. Once set up you can get an email test that lets you know if it has worked.I have set it up to view on my Amazon echo show 5, which for a novice would be quite a difficult task to do. You will require to register your camera in the app, then confirm your email address once it has been sent through it puts you through to your Amazon account where you will be able to enable the smart device for Reolink. From here you go to your Alexa app and search for devices pressing the + sign top right, add camera where it should pick your camera up.Pros: Good live time images where you can read number plates. Good quality alert of still images sent through the email. Easy to set up camera from start. Night time images good. Guides for set up in Reolink app. Zoom controls easy to use. App control very good. Echo show ability.Cons: play back of recorded image quality poor. If the company were able to upgrade their SD card to bigger formats 250gb and the newer compression I’m sure that recording quality would be great.

Reolink really stepped up with this one!
Great picture quality, great privacy features, full static IP or DHCP, ONVIF, audio, reasonably low power usage when not in nightvision mode.... the best bit? the wifi range on these is incredible! As long as you have a good directional antenna on your wifi router/access-point... and as long as you replace one of the antennas on this with a directional antenna, you are going to be amazed at how far away you can position this camera - as long as the antennas are facing each other. Without directional antennas it is still at the top of the pack, however 300 yards is what we're running ours across, open line of sight with some trees on the side here and there, and we get maximum-bitrate full quality video and audio. It is a top-class camera, highly recommend it if you need one with wifi and the zoom so that you can mount it higher away from the reach of opportunist thieves. After reading some other reviews, I'd like to edit my review with some additional notes:I've attached some screenshots of the web-browser configuration facility.a) This camera can record 2560 x 1920 @ 25 frames per second upto 8Mb bitrate.b) You can disable UUID if you are not a fan of 'average user' low-security easy-setup features.c) You can have it so that it emails you a picture only, or a picture and a video or a video only when it detects movements. You can also have this motion detection footage sent to an FTP server for the techies out there.d) This camera does NOT require internet connection to function, but with UUID functionality it can work across the internet with access to the internet via your router. We chose to keep the camera disabled from internet access and relied upon its Onvif functionality to work with a software NVR (Milestone, highly recommended!).e) You can disable the infrared nightvision feature and the backlight feature, as well as the noise removal feature.Reolink have done what Hikvision charge silly money for, they have put together a great price high build quality camera with great image quality paired with full configuration ability, effectively this camera is right at home for basic-UUID app users as well as more advanced Onvif users. If I could wish for one feature, I would love to see them make the ethernet port a passthrough port so that the camera could allow other devices to use its ethernet facility to communicate across its wifi, like a bridge of sorts, simply add an extra configuration page to allow the techies a little more freedom to make even better use of the hardware. Also I would love to see these cameras in black! Maybe a more top-end line with more advanced features as above and replace the blue 'o' with a red 'o' in the ReoLink logo to denote the pro versions... just a thought. Our camera has NOT crashed, has never required a reboot, it just works, 24/7, it has been over a month and the camera has not let us down yet, if this changes rest assured I will update the review accordingly. However the build quality and the solid software facilities both phone app and web-gui are a cut above the rest and indeed it does appear ReoLink went the full mile and did their homework on this one.If you have problems with the camera, speak to their support, one of the few small companies which actually do respond to your emails and want to make absolutely certain that you have the camera running 100%.I did not get paid for this review, nor did I receive a free item or anything, I'm just happy to share my experience after going through a few returns of other manufacturer cameras and want to make sure you don't ignore this camera because of a misleading review. Usually the issues are mostly user inexperience/error, and on the rare occasion a simply hardware failure, the latter is easily resolved with an immediate return for replacement but the former is just down to the individual.I hope my review helps other Amazonians to make a better-informed choice.

Excellent Quality
I'd previously gave this camera 1 star as it was missing the WiFi options in the menus. Turns out I'd updated it with the wrong firmware, one to look out with as the 511 firmware is for wired cameras and 511W is for wireless, still annoyed it accepted the firmware file as it could've bricked the camera. Anyway, once setup (correctly) it works extremely well. Great quality lense with optical zoom should you need to crop in without losing image quality. Why 4 stars? The WiFi antenna seems weak, even with a WiFi router on the other side of the wall its not able to stream 30 FPS at the full resolution with out getting choppy. This doesn't affect the playback of motion events if saving locally to an SD card like us but would affect a NVR setup. As always its best to run an ethernet cable as we had no issues with that but were unable to route a cable to the location needed. The camera works very well and supports the 128 GB SD card we put in it. Feels great quality too made entirely from metal but is heavy as a result.Take serious consideration in buying their additional mount for the camera, its expensive at £25 but makes mounting so much easier and thanks to the extremely large ethernet connector you basically require it as cable glands cant fit over the ethernet connector - their mount (sold separately) fully supports this of course. I found this worth the purchase but a bit expensive all in.
