1001 Comics You Must Read Before You Die Paperback – 3 October 2011

Good buy for comic lovers.

I love the broad cross section of the book. You get the history of comics via the best examples. It is subjective as the authors’ tastes may vary from yours but I find it a great resource. Pity my hard back copy arrived damaged. Thanks for wasting my time Amazon.

This is from a "modern" / post WW2 perspective. My fault and not necessarily the books. This is a little too scholarly and brief.The initial historical stuff whilst great for HISTORY, hardly makes for interest whilst trying to get to grips with some of the finer points.

This was a gift for my friend - he loved it! My husband owns a copy as well which he uses as a guide to buy his other comics 😂

Not the best comics. Just a review, they missed out too many to make it relevant. If you can buy it cheap,it’s an interesting introduction.

The 1001 Comic Books compensium arrived very promptly and gives a great overview. Good price, too. No complaints. I can recommend the vendor.
