AFO Fire Extinguisher Ball, self-Activation, AUTO FIRE Off Device

We had just built a fireworking building and bought 6 of these as automatic fire extinguishers along with 4 ABC fire extinguishers. We made a small fire to burn off the leftover lumber, about 2' campfire. We decided to try one of these balls to see how effective they are. ABSOLUTELY WORTHLESS! It did not even phase that small fire, and if anything tossed hot embers around. VERY disappointing! I will be trying the elide brand now, and you better believe i will be testing it!

I hope it work when supposed to. No where on the box, booklet, or the wrap on the product states expiration date which claims as 5 years. 5 years should be from manufacturing date, not purchasing date as claimed by one of the vendors. The provided screws stripped easily so I replaced with sturdy ones.

My girlfriend kept bugging me to get a smoke detector, and/or fire extinguisher for my home grow. Here's the winner. Happy GF = Happy Farmer. I feel good about having this in my grow room. If my lights go awry it will bomb my hard work but my GF won't be mad, and I won't be dead from a fire.

Fortunately I have not had to experience using this but I am more than happy to leave a review. The ball is actually smaller than I anticipated. But size shouldn't matter. It arrived packaged well and came with a wire holder and screws to allow mounting it to a wall. I purchased this not as an actual extinguisher but to have to possibly contain or prevent the spreading of a fire. I anticipate this to be of use if the need arises. Having a few placed in prime locations throughout the home should give a little peace of mind.

I put this on top of the refrigerator because last year my refrigerator caught on fire. I was home and in the kitchen so a tragedy was avoided but this extinguisher could save the house if I’m not home. After the fire I looked up fridge fires and they are very common.

I thinks this is the best innovation I tried it an it’s work perfectly. I encourage any one to make sure he/she get some for home safety

Inexpensive, portable, non hazard and put out fire in seconds, easy to carry even in your backpack.

Placed one in our chicken coop bc we use a heat lamp and straw bedding. I can't say these actually work well bc (thank goodness) we've never had a fire. But it gives me peace of mind knowing there's some kind of protection in there just in case.

These are the only ones I could get in this country.on utube they don't appear to work as well as the ones I wanted.will replace them as soon as funds allow.can not take a chance they don't work in a fire.

Delivered as expected, but we have not tried it under fire so we cannot comment on performance

attention c'est une copie de la fire ball, je ne l'ai pas testée pour voir son efficacité.le prix de l'original est bien trop elevé !
