great idea, bad customer service
This ant farm is a cool idea. The gel gives the ants all the food and water they need and it's fun to watch them dig. That said, our led lights stopped working within a week and the company refused to send a new light for it. They also didn't offer any apology or anything. Our ants had already been digging in it and I didn't want throw them out and try to return the whole product. We just wanted new lights. Be ware that the lights will probably stop working quickly and then you will be stuck with a hard decision. Dump the ants and try to return through amazon, or just deal with a farm with do lights like we did. :(

It does the job
Arrived quickly and my kids really like it. But the part in the back that attaches for light is a bit finicky. You have to wiggle the cord and get it just right in order for it to light up. Otherwise, it’s good.
