Exactly what was described and nothing else. Works as expected with the switch and the controller feels nearly identical to the official gamecube controller. The official gamecube controller does work with this adapter by the way! I have not tried this adapter with the PC or the WiiU but it works with my Switch.

Edit: I was contacted after writing this review and was given a full refund. The button still doesn't work, but I am happy with the seller's service and wish to make things right.I bought this controller to use to play Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. I used the controller for about half an hour until the right shoulder button got stuck. I could get it unstuck but it would get stuck again when I pressed the button. I opened up the controller to see if something was wrong, and put a part of the mechanism back into place. The button doesn't get stuck anymore, but now the controller ceases to take any inputs from the right shoulder button. I took the controller apart again but it still does not work.

Although a few times at the beginning of it's use I found that the controller wouldn't work, but after unplugging and plugging it back into the adapter it worked. The adapter works well and is well priced too. I use it just about every day. The only thing is that the controller is a bit light, unlike the original Gamecube controllers, but it's off brand so I can't complain.

The controller right bumper came out of the box broken or at least sticky. I would press the right bumper and half a sec after I take it off then it input I did it. Which is bad if I'm playing smash bc I will roll or waste time in the shield. The adapter is fine the controller came out little broken.

Controller worked great. But, port 1&4 did not work on the adapter. Only port 2&3 worked for some reason. Returning ASAP.

When I received it it said the vibration function wasn't compatible with the switch, which makes sense I think, but after using it to play smash it was working like a champ! best deal at this price, not like the nintendo thing that cost 75 just the adaptar. I would totally buy from these people again, in fact I might order a few extra gamecube controles, they also send an extension cord, it was a really nice touch

I’ve had the controll for a few months, but the rubber part on the left joystick is very flimsy, can easily come off, and breaks apart. The controller stopped working recently, so I’m not sure if it was the adapter or the controller, but it’s worth the $25 for how long it lasts.

Controller works well. Feels like an original. Analog is good! Best 3rd party I’ve used yet. Happy with the purchase!The adapter works well. Had zero issues setting it up.

This is a perfect bundle for anyone who grew up with Smash Bros and played 1000s of rounds of Melee and wants to carry over to Ultimate on the Switch.The only issue I have is the A button is quite loud but I'm sure over time this will lessen.

Its worth to buy. My kids likes it a lot

There is only one extension cable, even though the product image shows two. I mean... really, how mediocre.
