Hey, after seeing all those adverts for personal ceramic heaters, I thought maybe I should invest in one and see what all the noise was about. I came across this tiny unit whilst browsing, and thought it looked nice, especially as it has a very different design to those others out there.This is what I found:-1. Very lightweight and compact - This can be tucked away in the boot of the car for those just in case situations. I have stayed at two or three hotels, where the room was chilly and just never quite snuggly. This would have been perfect, as no-one would see you sneak it in your luggage or even rucksack...LOL2. Safety tip-over gauge - The device automatically switches off if this gauge is not in contact with the ground.3. Excellent price - This is somewhat cheaper than those other ceramic heaters out there.4. Nice design in blue - Just looks a bit more trendy than the rest, not sure if I would say it is Art Deco, but it does look nice.5. Shame it does not have a temperature gauge of some sort, so you can visibly see how it is impacting the area being heated, but this can be forgiven with the low price.6. Cool to touch - This is excellent as you can literally pack this heater away immediately as the unit is cool to touch once switched off.7. The on/off button goes red when on, which is quite simple but what do you need on a basic heater.8. Size - As you can see I photographed the unit with a standard Nescafe coffee jar to demonstrate just how small the unit is and it still packs a punch at 500 watts :)Conclusion__________I have to give this personal heater a BIG thumbs-up, as it is inexpensive and does throw out a good deal of heat. Great personal heater which has the topple-over safety cut-out and remains cool to touch after switching the unit off too. As I stated a temperature gauge is the only improvement that could have been made to the unit, but then given the price maybe I am asking for too much :)

The claim in the advert is that this little heater has "CE Certified Safety" but the product has no CE marking on the heater or on the box and does not include a Declaration of Conformity.so it can't be legally sold in the UK. Furthermore From January 2018, all electric heaters sold in the EU must comply with the new EcoDesign Lot 20 standard, again there is no evidence of such compliance.In use the heater smelt of burning paint (I think from the black painted mesh grille), so goodness knows what chemicals you are breathing in).I was so concerned about the grille getting so hot in operation, I measured the outlet temperature, which I found to be over 166 Celsius. So a small child touching the grille would receive a burn similar to putting their hand on a roasting dish straight out of the oven.I'll be raising this matter with Trading Standards and Amazon.

Certainly small and light, this ceramic heater is ideal for small spaces though it's plastic construction means it is quite noisy. For around £12 at the time, no one should complain.

Very pleased. It's quiet and provides a good amount of heat.
