 Every harness I’ve owned before this one caused my cat to do this weird penguin shuffle. Im pretty sure now that it was the center piece along her chest causing it. This harness is open along the chest, allowing her to gallop like the little pseudo-leopard she is.The harness has both Velcro and buckles, and is very secure. Even with her super-rubber flexibility I don’t think she could escape if I tried to shake her out of it. It’s also made of a canvas-like material and seems comfy. If I nudge the leash the force goes mostly to her chest, so no kitty strangulation.I ordered a medium, my girl is about 8lbs and lean, like a furry slinky. The medium fits her just fine.Also props to the cute color, the lace is a nice touch.

I ordered the small two months ago for Tater Tot. When it arrived I was so in love with it but it was way to big for her at the time she was 2.7lbs. She is now 3.5 lbs and it fits her perfectly on the tightest settings. I almost returned it due to not fitting. So glad I didn't!

I bought this for my long haired cat. It fits him very well, his hair does get in the Velcro at times but he doesn’t seem to mind. He has not been able to escape from this!

I bought this for my tiny dog. First and foremost, it does come with a leash, but I could have bought the leash at Dollar Tree. Very cheap. I measured my dog to make sure I was getting the right size, ordered the size accordingly only to find it was tight on her. This could have been fixed if not for the thin elastic holding the buckle back so it couldn't extend. Okay, whatever, let's give it a try. Fast forward to today- my dog (who isnt very active at all) is sleeping beside me on the couch and I notice that the cutsie material is separating from the piping on the collar! It's been less than 24 hours! Ridiculous.

This is a great crafted harness. So very well made. For me the Small was too small for my 5 lb. yorkie.I did have to refund and I did not re order the medium for fear it would be way to large for her. I really thoughtit to be a well made product just the same. Disappointed I could not keep it. It did say cat harness with a dogabout the exact size as my yorkie so it was misleading a little. I just assumed with the dog in the picture hersize that it would fit perfect. But it was not the case. I still gave 5 stars for customer care in returning andgood quality product.

I ordered a different harness which was supposed to accommodate up to 15 lbs. It would not fit around her belly, so I returned it. This harness not only fit around her (size XL), but it's easy to get on her (she's skittish). I've taken her outside in it with no concerns about her being able to wiggle out of it and she seems to be comfortable with it on.

My six-month old kitten would like to escape the house, so I needed something to attach her tags to and tried a conventional cat collar and cat harness. She got out of both. Then, I found this harness with a search for inescapable harnesses. I measured my kitten and ordered the medium as it was the one indicated for her measurements. However, it was much too loose and she got it off twice the first day. She's a virtual Houdini even though the wearing of a harness magically paralyzes her. I then ordered a size small and it fits much better, although we still have the paralyzing problem :). If she decides she can deal with it, mission accomplished. If she continues to growl and be paralyzed we may need another option. I'll keep you updated.

We have a miniature dachshund and she was escaping from all other harnesses but this one works beautifully and we can walk her with no problems - thank you for this great design.
