You have to pretty much throw it against the wall to get it to go into alarm.

They don’t work. No way to test them. I knocked the crap out of them and no trigger. I’m not taking someone’s word for it.Abode charged me shipping to send them back when I bought directly from them. They should not put their name on these.

I purchased 6 of these directly from Abode. Maybe they work if the glass is broken, but they do not work for vibrations. These sensors are actually made by Climax technologies. There is a cryptic method for setting sensitivity, but no way to confirm the default or current sensitivity setting. Regardless, I literally had to drop them 6 to 12 inches onto a hard surface to trigger the vibration detection mechanism. You may be better off buying window sensors with open/close magnetic contacts. This particular sensor may be better for solid windows that cannot be opened. However, I do not have a glass pane I'm willing to break just to test this theory. My 2 cents, avoid at any price point.
