Great size for smaller family meals
Love the flat bottom because I can use it on the stove, in the oven (to bake bread) or hang it over a fire with a tripod. Perfect size for a family of 2-4. Love this pot. You will need to re-season it when it arrives. It is covered inside and out with the dust from foundry where it is manufactured. However, after a good washing with soap and water, dried on a hot stove, lightly oiled with peanut oil and placed upside down in the oven at 400º for an hour, it has worked flawlessly for me. I bake bread in mine every day…
