I purchased this strip to hold my brand new Wustof knives my husband bought me for Christmas. The picture has 7 knives/items hanging. (Odd coincidence, I have that exact tile) anyway, I washed and dried the area to be used. I attached to wall firmly pressing. I waited a day to make sure the bar had time to really adhere. I proceeded to attach my 3pc. Set. I have to say, I was supper happy with the look of the magnetic bar. I continued to be happy for about a week until one night I hear a boom!! The bar had come unstuck and now my brand new $200+ knife set has chips on edges of blades from crashing down. I am so upset. My husband tried to sharpen, but knives will never be the same. I am mad that the picture shows 7 pcs. Hanging....I only had 3 and tacky bar wouldn’t hold those. Please don’t waste your money...unless you want to screw into wall.UPDATE!!!! After posting this I was immediately contacted and given a new one to try. I put it up with more utensils then I plan to use on it. It has stayed in place with no problem this time. I am very happy with the owners obvious care and concern for the situation. I cannot imagine being treated any better than I was. Would definitely recommend! thank you Matt!

I'm so impressed with this knife strip because it makes your life easier due to self-adhesion. I wanted a magnetic holder for a very long time but have not decided to buy any of them because did not want to drill my beautiful new kitchen tiles. I was worried to break the tiles so rather than buying a knife holder I store sharp knives along with other stuff in the drawer and it was a mess. And then I found this holder. The seller claims fast and efficient installation with ready to use 3M adhesive on the back. I decided to try it and in case if it wouldn't work, still my tiles are in one piece. Today is two weeks since I put it up and here is the five-star review. It works great and the magnetism is strong. In addition, oak wood is also very beautiful and the color matches with white tiles. If you do not want to drill the wall this is the answer. Here you go with all my knives up.

Cheap easy to install . I found you got to go handles up ( my knife are heavy ) I like it ! Been on my wall over a week now with no problems. Tip on install , do use soap to clean surface use 99% alchohol

I tried to place this item on the side of my refrigerator. I placed four knives on it. Walked away and within 10 minutes every including the knife strip fell off. I tried again, this product simply does not work.

It's magnetic, but barely. Almost any knife or metal utensil I put on there falls or slides off, and the very few that stay fall off at the slightest touch.The 3M strip works well.Do yourself a favor and get one with a thicker magnetic strip.

Didn’t stick to my wall after following the Instructions it kept falling

This will not hold a large knife

This does NOT stick to subway tile. There's not enough surface area for the sticky part to stick to. The strip was up for about a day and a half before it fell with just 3 knives on it.
