Needed more information on where to get option Greeks
Book is good with theory, lots of example and examples are also easy to understand but as far practical application is concern, I don't know how much I'll be able to use it. Explaining theory with data is different thing but when it comes to application, I am not certain where should I look for them.As in attached picture, It starts option Greeks with line like ' most options analytics software will give you the Greeks of your positions ' and that's all, then it started explaining Greeks and strategy.. now which analytics software should I look for, where will I get required inputs like rate, implied volatility etc. But no doubt his way of explaining things are good, like his other books. I expected some more concrete explanation on how to start trading options. Else market is flooded with books on theory of options trading. He took examples from market outside our Indian stock market , maybe to address bigger crowd and that's a welcome move but I think it lack some fundamentals.

Not what the title leads you to believe.
Before I review this book, you should know that I am NCFM certified, Quant Certified on options and I have done/read a lot of other not so known courses. When I started reading about stock markets, I came across at a book of the author related to Ichimoku Clouds and I was impressed by it. With that book as base I bought this one as well. My expectation was that this book will dive into the non-directional options from the get go and I was hoping for an advanced explanation for people who already have common knowledge related to options. What you get is a good explanation of Options contract with almost all the details related to options and the concepts related with options. At the end you get ONE option strategy and that too the examples are based on Forex market (I knew this before buying the book, so this is not something I am complaining) the author asks the readers to backtest and make their own strategy for Indian market, this is where he lost me. If I have to do all of that myself then why did I pay for this book? Also a simple google search will get you all the information available on this book. Readers will be more beneficial by reading guides of option trading strategies and their pay off and how it is done via google than reading this book which assumes that the market will drop by approximately 2% on any given month. Conclusion - Avoid this one, you can get all the information presented here on google, yes the author has presented a lot of examples of ONE strategy that too is deployed when you are mildly bearish on the market but it can also be argued that he has been sponsored by OptionVue and is promoting their software.

Good Book
It's a good book, but not for beginners...if you have experience in this field then it will be little easy to understand

Don't waste your time.
Too much technical. Author could not explain the art in an easy way. Emphasis was on the point that there is always a chance that you loose your money in option trading which people know.

Not for Indian stock markets.
Concepts applicable to US markets. Should mention this clearly in heading or description. Just 1 strategy elaborated and that too only for S&P INDEX.
