Smith and Nephew No Sting Prep Wipes (Box of 50 Wipes)

I am a wound nurse and found these dressings to be one of my favorites. They create an excellent environment for wound healing. They are cushioned, absorbent and, if intact, can be left on for about 3 days. They stay on.

works great for condom caths. make sure it says “no-sting” on the box. i wont make that mistake again!

I was using therapeutic tape for a foot problem, and my skin reacted very badly to the adhesive, becoming red, itchy, peeling. The tape worked well on the intended problem, but caused the secondary skin issue. Skin prep is the answer! Apply to all skin that will have the tape on it, let dry, apply tape. The tape is unable to react with the skin because of the barrier of skin prep, and will adhere just as well, if not better!

I use this to help the adhesive and my skin to work together when I have a break down to the skin from the last adhesive. I really like this stuff, I haven't had to stop using the sensors waiting for my skin to heal since I started using this.

These are far less expensive than the name brand and they do the same very very well indeed. Their purpose is to provide a very thin layer over one's skin that allows adhesives to to be much more fully adhered and yet protect the skin. Easy to buy, easy-to-use, this is a highly recommended simple sterile no-sting product.

Used with condom catheter, the no sting component is very important. Saw no les adhesion then the standard with alcohol.

Use this for protection from medical tape stripping the skin.
