This is great for phones and tablets with any sort of case on them. I like having a place to put my phone where my child can see it and watch Netflix on long car rides and it be out of reach so not messing up my phone or locking me out! I wish I didn’t have to take my case off for it to work though, the part that holds the device should allow for cases as not all cases are easy to take on and off like my otterbox case. Kept me from having to start the movie over and over because my little couldn’t reach it! If device is too heavy it does fold itself down and my phone kept moving down even though it was tightened to keep that from happening without breaking that part.

I give it a 1 star because there isnt anything standard about it. I went past the return time or else i would return. Thats what i gwt for not opening things right away. I tried using on my Subaru Crosstrek, Chevy Traverse, Chevy Silverado and it fit none. Beyong a waste of money that now sits in my closet. I dont care what other reviews say. Mine is legit. The product its self seems greart but fits no car!!!

My son's seat just turned around so he needed a device holder like his sister's so there was no car trip fighting. This popped right onto the headrest and is super easy to lock a tablet into, even reaching from the front seat. It's also really easy to pop off when he starts kicking everything within reach. Great design, hoping it holds up to long-term abuse as this little guy is rough on his things!!

My granddaughter asked if I would purchase something so she could watch her Kindle in my Durango without having to hold it, I looked at several items and purchased 2 of these for her and her brother. They work great, fit perfect on the headrest and id very secure. I did take it out of the case when I used the mount but its not an issue. Still had plenty of room to plug in headsets and the charger, I recommend this mount.

Yes easy to install, sturdy works with cellular phone and small tablet. Not sure about large size tablets. But it’s worth having in your car for convenience. You can insert phone portrait way or landscape depending on what you are watching, just remember the volume will be in the driver’s ear or the passenger’s ear so get a pair of headphones for the user.

I just received my mount today. My phone fits well in it, it looks awesome, and I would give it 5 stars but the mount itself is not wide enough for my seat's headrest. It hangs down on the seat..any road bump and it will fall off.

I love this!! My husband bought our daughter a iPad mini 5 so I ordered this for her but wasn't sure how it would work since I also got her a very thick case, I was scared it wouldn't hold or it would fall off. I was blown away on how the grip holds on during long drives we take, especially because the ipad+ the case isn't the lightest thing. Definitely ordering another for our next child once they are old enough for a tablet.UPDATE: no longer works, the band that would hold the clamps closed and phone tightly is extremely loose and just drops the phone or iPad now.
