Bitsy’s Organic Chocolate Cookies | Tree Nut and Peanut Free | Vitamin and Mineral Filled Snacks for Kids - 6 Pack

I am of two minds about Bitsy’s Organic Chocolate Cookies. This box of boxes is my second buy of Bitsy’s vegetable-based cookies. The taste is no worse than pretty good. I bought them for myself and cannot say how kids might react to them. As of now Amazon is not selling this product nor do I see them at the Bitsy’s web site.Therefore, these comments may apply to all Bitsy’s products. First a calorie is a calorie. There is some evidence that the body can recognize different kinds of calories and process them differently, but in general a calorie is a calorie. In most products I am leery of the label “Organic”. Where the term is applied properly, it may have some meaning about the relative goodness of the content. However, the term is not sufficiently regulated to be reliable and being organic at the farm means nothing when it comes to processing at the plant. Sugar, salt and fat content can all be organic and manipulated to increase the urge to snack. And I notice that the products listed at Bitsey’s no longer say “Organic”.There remains something attractive about the use of veggies to make snack food. It may be a gimmick whose time has passed. In which case I was one who fell for it. But I have a few boxes left from my last order and will continue to have them with my at work lunches.Hardly a ringing endorsement, but at worst, Bitsy’s Organic Chocolate Cookies are pretty much what I thought I was going to get.

What I like most about bitsy’s cookies is that they are peanut/tree nut allergy free! I have two young children both with food allergies and they love these. The chocolate cookies are my son’s favorite and he eats two bags a day. He will only eat a handful of foods, the same things everyday. I noticed these cookies are no longer available locally so I’m really worrying that I won’t be able to buy them for him anymore!! We also buy the orange box and the green box of cookies but chocolate is the all time favorite. We used to buy the big bags with the cookies shaped like letters. That’s how my children first discovered them. Loved eating while learning letters! I love it when I can find snacks that are labeled as allergen free so I don’t have to worry/wonder! And I can feel good about the ingredients. Please don’t stop making these cookies and we love the letter shapes too. Thank you

I love this company. I have tried several of their crackers and cookies. Very healthy and not too much sugar. A perfect snack size. Just wish I could get other flavors, always seems to be out of stock. Will keep on purchasing from this company. Keep up the great job!! A happy satisfied customer!!

Saw this on tv and thought I’d try it. I’m 62, no kids in the house, but I appreciate a healthy snack. I wasn’t jazzed about the first bite, but after the package was empty, (and yes, I enjoyed it) I felt good about the fact that the ingredients were healthier than the tortillas that have been sitting in my frig for over a month. I just ordered my 2nd box. 1 order has 4 boxes, each box has 5 packs in it, that wasn’t clear when I placed my 1st order. It hits the spot for me when I just want to nibble on something. And....it’s USDA Organic certified!!

I am a 58 year old woman and am prone to bladder irritation (overactive bladder) from certain foods. I really like these cookies; they are a treat without having too much sugar. For a while, I was having one pack of these cookies daily. However, I developed pretty bad bladder irritation. (I was having to get up to urinate quite frequently every night). I was going crazy. Eventually, I figured out that the citrus and beets in these cookies were possibly to blame. I stopped eating the cookies and the bladder problem resolved. However, these cookies are quite wholesome and delicious! So, these days, I limit myself to no more than a couple cookies per day. Just wanted to put this review out there in case other experience the same issue.

It is hard to find good and easy snacks. I love the convenience of these crackers because they are individually packaged and bite size pieces. I always check the ingredients of anything I am buying, especially something I am giving my kids. All the ingredients are simple and I was pleasantly surprised to see that they are fortified with vitamins and minerals! All the flavors are great but our favorite is cheddar. It is very flavorful and savory and can kill a craving without making one feel guilty about eating it! It is also a plus that it is made in a nut free facility because even though my kids do not have allergies to nuts, many do and I know how stressful that can be for other parents.

I was looking for healthier snacks and I came across these as a replacement for cheez its. I love the Extra Toasty Cheez Its but they are not healthy. I found these and was excited to try them. I was hesitant because of the price but you do get alot and it works out to being less than a dollar a pack. They dont taste healthy at all but they do taste good. I will forever be a customer!

I already loved that this brand was co-founded by Gabrielle Union so I was looking forward to trying it. Received a bundle of 2 crackers and 1 box of cookies and love them all. As a parent of a child with a nut/peanut allergy, I'm always looking for nut/peanut-free snacks to keep stocked at our house - Bitsy's made the list!
