My son is 8 and I will be ordering the 4. Last summer he wore a 3 in this shoe. He wears a 4 in adidas shoes, 4 I thi k will be fine for my son, possibly your 8 yr old too

They are not “stretchy bus the do get softer and “slouchy if worn every day for months on end like Kev my sons do
