Good quality PLASTIC frame
This is a pair of UV coated sunglasses set in a tortoise shell plastic frame. The glasses weigh 25 gm. The frames are heavy-duty dark plastic with lighter accents in a tortoise shell pattern. The bows on the frame are reinforced with metal. On the inside of one bow it says “Kallias 6 49 20-142”. On the other bow on the inside is something written in cursive, “Wiley” perhaps, although the letters aren’t really legible. The joints of the bow are initially quite tight and are connected with ordinary eyeglass screws. The nose pieces are integrated into the frame, not separate pads. The lens are tinted dark green. The eyeglasses come with a gold sparkly triangular hard case, 2.5” on each side by 6.5” long. The case is packed in a hard cardboard gift box. The Mareine logo appears on the side of the gold sparkly case but no logos appear on the outside of the glasses themselves.I really like these sunglasses. The lenses are dark enough to make a difference (although they give the world a green tint). The frames feel very high quality compared to other sunglasses that I have worn. I’m guessing that they were standard eyeglass frames that went out of style and are now being re-used for sunglasses. Anyway, they feel good, they look good, and they will probably last a whole lot longer than ordinary sunglasses in cheap frames. Since these sunglasses are standard eyeglass size, they can fit in an ordinary case, which is how I am going to carry them. I’ll use the big sparkly triangular case for other sunglasses that simply won’t fit in a standard eyeglass case. Although the sparkly case is quite feminine, the eyeglasses themselves are somewhat gender-neutral and could be worn by women or men, depending on tastes. Overall, this is a high-quality pair of sunglasses that should last for a long while.

Wow, the boxes! Plus correct description and size info (black + transparent style)
The term "unisex" in the title didn't prepare me for what arrived, a handsome 3-1/8" x 2-7/8" x 6-3/4" faux-grain brown paperboard box with pull ribbon to slide open at one end, inside of which is an ultra-sparkly gold triangular prism-shaped paperboard box with magnetic closure, lined inside with cream velveteen holding the glasses. That's unisex the way Elton John's glasses are unisex. (The shape of the inner case is fun, if not very practical for carrying in a purse: the three sides of the prism shape are between 2-1/2" and 3" each; it isn't flat like most glasses cases.)The style I got, black + transparent at the bottom, isn't so flamboyant, as you can see in the product photos for it, though it does seem more feminine than masculine. All that fits the part of the description (which I somehow missed before) that says, "Maybe you are a cheesy single female aristocrat or an all-pervasive mother; Maybe you are a glamorous role in occupation or a careful whole-time wife. However, may be we all have a heart of becoming queen" etc. Ma reine means "my queen" in French. The text may have gained some extra cheese in translation, not from French but Chinese. This is a new brand, trademarked this year, owned by Wenzhou Vanlinker Technology Co., Ltd., a new company based in Zhejiang, China. It appears to be partnered with Amazon, which the insert inside the box says is one way to contact the company. The glasses fit my average-sized male head perfectly. They're light and don't slip when I shake my head vigorously. They don't have any spring-loading at the hinges, but there's a lot of give to fit different-size heads. They feel well constructed, no loose parts. The script on one arm seems to say "evil eye" (with the final two letters overlapped). The description is garbled and inaccurate. Hopefully that will be fixed soon. The frames are plastic, as part of the description says, not metal, as another part says. There's no gradient in the lens color. The numbers on the temple (arm) are mostly different from what the description says: 49, which is the lens width in mm (= 1.9"), 20, the bridge width (= .79"), and 142, the temple length (= 5.6"). (I measure the lenses at 47mm x 43mm (1-7/8" x 1-5/8"), 52mm x 46mm (2" x just over 1-3/4") with frames. The nose bridge is 13mm at the top, but I don't know where it's supposed to be measured, so 20mm may be right. The temples are indeed a bit over 5-1/2" long.)

Suspect
I'm torn on these. While they seem decent and did look good, I had to question the company intro that looks like a really bad robot translation from Chinese to English. I can't help but feel that if they cut corners in the localization, where else are corners cut? The description is meaningless - "Paris" is used several times though there is nothing Parisienne here. "High quality" without telling you why/what is high quality about them? Fashion unique design - what does that even mean? It feels like a LOT of double speak. Takes this intro for example:"MAREINE was originated from Fashionable Paris “MY QUEEN” which is committed to shape high quality and unique fashionable sunglasses and contribution endeavor for realizing females’ dream of becoming queens. We are all same, we are beautiful, confident, independent and we are ourselves’ queens permanently, whatever we are."It all says exactly nothing. I feel like this is some kind of litmus test to determine just how stupid and shallow I am.

Nice Case
The case is flashier than the glasses. It's a beautiful glittery copper/goldish case that is triangler in shape. In addition to the case, the glasses come with a cleansing cloth and marketing tent. The glasses themselves are not flashy by any means. They are brown, almost a leopard type pattern but not quite. They are quite small, they fit my head and my 8-year-old granddaughters. So if you have a larger head, they may not fit. On the inside of the frame, there is: Kallias 4 49/20-142 if you know what that means. There are also these dots on the each of the ear pieces. See photos. There wasn't any other information included like UV protection, etc. but they are dark enough in the sun that I felt my eyes are being protected.
