The mat works well, and we did not have any problems with it laying flat or permanently curling. Received it during hot weather, so that may have helped it to flatten out. We've walked on it and have not noticed it sliding around at all.

I've only had for a week or two and I think they're great. I ordered 2. When received they are rolled up, for ease of shipping of course. I unrolled them and set a few objects like books on the corners to help expedite them laying perfectly flat. After no more than 2 days they are perfectly flat and work great.

First, I love that this mat is sturdy and has some weight to it, yet is still clear enough to see my hard wood floors beneath it. It has been several months now and the mat shows absolutely no signs of wear or tear. I also like that it slides to the edge of the desk area, and then is molded so that the mat transitions under the desk area to help prevent your feet from prematurely wearing out the floor. This is a great product. And in my fair opinion, you wouldn't find an equal substitue.

Item as described, would recommend!I just moved into a new apartment that has all wood floors, and I didn't want to ruin them with my computer chair, so I made sure to get something sturdy to protect it. It came rolled up, so I put some heavy things on it for one evening and then put it under my desk the next day, has been completely flat since. I made sure to measure the area under my desk before selecting a mat, and this fits perfectly. I like that my chair rolls easily over it, and it's nice and clear so it's barely noticeable. Also, it stays in place and hasn't shifted much at all since putting it down.

This Office Chair mat was just what we needed. It is at my son's computer desk, and is doing a fine job of protecting the carpet. It didn't take too long to flatten out either. We will probably be buying at least one more in the next few months. I'm very pleased with this.

I got the mat to protect my floor from my desk chair. I work at home so it is in an area that I use daily for long periods of time. It seems to be good quality. Only complaint is getting it unrolled. It was soooo tight that I needed another person to help me get it unrolled. By the end of the week it seems to curl under a bit, so on the weekend (when I don't work) I put a board on it to flatten it out. It seems to get a bit better each week. I gave a rating of 4 as it looks like good quality but only just started using so time will tell.

I like that it's soft plastic, not like the hard mats I used to have. The length is long enough that I can sit back from my desk and keyboard drawer and still be entirely on the mat. Also, I like that it's super clear, so I can still see my beautiful wood floor below. It took a bit of time and work to get it to lay flat enough to use...maybe 2 days. I put it on a table upside down for it to somewhat curl into place. I also used a hair dryer to soften it (not recommended, I'm sure)...making sure to not let it get too close or too hot. Then I put it on the floor upside-down and put weights and books on the edges to finish flattening it. Chair rolls super easy on it...though it does slide/move a little bit (again, not like the hard plastic ones do).

Allows the wood floor to show through while protecting it from the wheels of my chair. I would recommend it.

My hardwood floor was losing his finish with the office chair movement. This carpet really helped protecting it.
