Perfect!
I wanted to have a spare remote because I have had to get a whole new alarm system in the past, because I couldn't find a remote for the older system. Nice to see Viper is still producing these remotes and Amazon has easy access to them.

Exactly what I ordered
Product was exactly what I wanted. Programming it was quick...it was brutally cold last month so remote start is essential. I've had the viper system for years and love it. The fob stopped working so had to replace it. Flawless.

Perfect replacement for a worn out remote
Have had the Viper on the FJ Cruiser for 10 years. Charging port broke on my original remote. Found this unit cheaper on Amazon than the local shops. It took a little time to sync do to me missing a critical step 😆. Glad I'm back driving with a new fully functional Viper remote on my FJ.

Dependable and long range
I just replaced this on a 2016 vehicle so I got 7 years out of the last one. I'd say that's a pretty good life span. This thing will crank my truck for a mile away (not literally)... but probably a football field away minimum. I've been pleased with this remote over the years. They are kind of tricky to program but you can find videos on youtube that will get you there. I hear they may be harder to get in the future so I'd grab a replacement if you think it's getting close to time.

Works just as expected
Update: It only lasted 10 months before it gave up the ghost. I have the same remote for my other car and it’s lasted 7 years... Extremely disappointedMy only complaint is the battery life before it needs recharged. But then you have to remember that it does have and lcd, makes sound, vibrates, and is a two way remote. So he battery life won’t be amazing but good enough. It was super easy to pair. Just follow the instructions.

I was wrong and got it fixed
I thought it was locked and paired with a different vehicle at first because I followed the instructions and it wouldn’t connect to my truck no matter how many times I tried connecting it, so I was pretty pissed and was gonna return it but I took it to my local lock smith first and he told me it was just a wire on the Bluetooth and it was just a weak signal so he fixed the wire and now it’s working like new the battery last longer then I thought it works great I love🔑👍
