Hood Decal Compatible with Jeep Renegade - Blackout Hood Sticker - Matte Black

First I will say the product, adhesive, cost and design is really good and quality. However if you are not an experienced installer for seals like these you will struggle. My first run on it I completely screwed it up. Watched the video and instructions. Need to be aware of is the adhesive is very strong...which is good. You want this. However once it touched the surface trying to pull it back off to clear some bubbles wont happen. You get one shot at this so once the seal touched the surface you better make sure you got it on right. After that you trying to lift it back up a little it will just stretch it out of shape. It took me about 5 different time....which means I had to re-buy it 5 times over. If you have somebody who good at it let them do it if you if you are a beginner. I've done seal before but this seal is strong once it touches the surface. Good luck!

i applied it using the “wet application” method and it worked perfectly. i left it out on a table overnight with a few books on top to flatten it out, then installed it the next day. this made it 100 times easier than installing it right out of the package when it’s all curled up. i used a debit card starting from the inside and worked my way out. i then used a safety pin to pop any bubbles in the decal. thx skunkmonkey for helping my renny look amazing!!

Very disappointing and a complete waste of my money. I had to throw it in the trash. I have some experience with decals with making them with the cricut to use on various projects. This was impossible to work with especially with the angle of the car. Three of us worked together. Very disappointing and now I am out $40+ and was so excited to put this on my car.

Having holes where the comes out to clean windshield would’ve been perfect and easier to install.. Had a ton of trouble trying to cut the perfect hole. It was a mess so I trashed the decal..

First this is not a quality product by any means. It came rolled up but had 2 major creases diving the decal into thirds. The film over the decal was so heavily applied that the decal tore in the center upon application. Amazon has continued to sell these CHEAP QUALITY spin off products to which with this one is best to find another source.

Not bad quality for the price, make sure you use soapy water when applying, this gives you chance to centralise and get all the bubbles out, use a sponge for removing air as a plastic squeegee tends to mark it a bit, use some heat as well to help with curing process, hair dryer for example, mine took about 2 days to dry completely, keep checking for air bubbles during the drying process and pushing them out, I put some insulation tape along the front edge for a few days to make sure it didn't catch in the wind and peel off, no bubbles now and stuck fast, quite an easy job and very pleased with the outcome
