I was really excited to order these as a fun and unique birthday celebration element.Turns out, they are illegal in my state (and most others). When I researched this I found out that they are known for causing fires in forests, crops, and burning people. They also can be harmful to animals. Even though this mentions that it is biodegradable, it can still cause great harm.I am sharing so that others may research in their own locality before potentially wasting the money.

These were so fun to use and absolutely beautiful. I would note that it requires 2 people to light each lantern- one person to hold it upright, while the other lights the cardboard piece underneath. Once you get the first one going, it's very easy to get the hang of. Very beautiful and were able to watch for several minutes as they floated away on a clear night.

I bought these to celebrate my moms first birthday in heaven! They were so big and the looks so pretty floating up into the sky! I will be ordering them every year for the rest of my life!

It worked perfectly fine but it’s dangerous make sure there’s no tree and when u light it up make sure u the middle middle don’t worried about the string it don’t burn and make sure it’s to person helping u

We used for a night time girl scout bridging ceremony. Lanterns were lovely floating over the lake.

Horrible item. Difficult to light, ripped easily and not even one took off. Disappointed
