The best around.
I wear it daily, and frankly I've been through more hair products in my time than I'd like to admit. Smells great, holds great, doesn't bother my skin or even get gross towards the end of the day. Strong and true.. I recommend pairing with a wooden Kent hair brush. After a while, the brush will hold some amount of the pomade in it and you can easily refresh your hair with a quick brush.

Love hate relationship with this
Hard to find and cost too much. I use to buy at any store now only on Amazon.

Great shine great scent
If you like the shiny/greasy look this will do it.Really nice aroma is probably this pomade's best feature.Hold is not great but it's usable outside of blistering summer heat. For a classic brand that's not a small batch brew this one is worth at least trying.

American product as european import!
I really like this stuff.. I'd give it like 4 and a half stars really. It's a shame that both Black & White and this don't seem to be available in the states.. though in both cases they're made here. Soooo, yeahWhat you are looking at is a medium soft pomade that is deep golden yellow. Seriously, I've heard that this stuff stains light haired people and furniture and whatnot, so use with caution if you are fair haired! I would say it provides a medium-light hold: While it's lighter than B&W it's not exactly a light pomade either.. And it is far shinier!! Really really good gloss, overall. The smell is also similar to B&W (coconutty, vanilla-y and cinnamony) but less sweet and a bit heavier on the spice.. It goes well with my Royal Spice aftershave (when I happen to use it) and would go well with any spice-oriented aftershave. In any case the smell is fairly subtle.. It is sold in the tin, originally designed in the 30's and brought back from the dead in 2006 and now, as far as i can tell, distributed all over europe.. I think it must be unavailable in the states (hence the high cost). The only cons I can find with this product are: a) that it is hard to find for under 10 bucks for 4oz. stateside and b) that it seems to erroneously include some artificial colorings.. that's just unnecessary really.. Otherwise, I'd be using this stuff all the time..

... tried many pomades over the years and never truly loved one until I found Sweet Georgia Brown
I've tried many pomades over the years and never truly loved one until I found Sweet Georgia Brown. Once you decide to commit to greasy hair this is the only way to go. Much, much better hold and shine than any water-based pomade will ever give you. For everyday use I recommend the red tin over the blue tin, however if it is a hot day (80F+ degrees) I recommend mixing 3-1 red tin to blue tin in order to have more hold.

Great Pomade, Good Hold
Definitely gets the job done, although be warned it is somewhat greasy. For true hardcore greasers it is a must, also has an excellent scent, and is very light, can be used in thick hair also, and has good hold. Excellent for use in any 50's pomp hairstyling.

Super gute Pomade!!!
SUPER POMADE
