Great meteorite package for kids or adults. Would make an excellent gift
When I was a little kid I just assumed I would be an astronaut when I grew up. Spoiler alert: It never happened. Since I couldn't get to space, I always wanted to bring a little something from space into my life and I always wanted a meteorite.I had no idea I could buy one on Amazon that is so cool and affordable. The meteorite arrived well packaged and looked larger than I was expecting. The display case looks cheap but it does have a nice magnifying top so I can enjoy my space rock without reading glasses. But who cares, I wasn't buying the case I was buying something THAT CAME FROM SPACE. It's awesome. The tektite is a nice added bonus, maybe in my retired years I will polish it and make something with it.If you have friends who are into science or astronomy, or even jewelry making, this would make an excellent and classy gift. If you don't want to give your friends anything, it makes an excellent conversation piece. If you don't have any friends, you can enjoy this space rock by yourself. After all, it probably spent billions of years alone in the cosmos, you'll have something in common with your new pet space rock.Now that I've written this, I'm off to listen to David Bowie's "Space Oddity".
