My daughter wanted a hamster so this is the next best thing. Surprisingly realistic when in the ball. Really cute toy.

Cute, sturdy little *cat toy*
I had a similar toy years ago but a leaky battery ruined it. I've hesitated to replace it, given the variety of comments about the different manufacturers' versions of it. I finally went ahead and got this one (made by ABL Innovation Toys). Hooray - it's the same good quality I had before. It is unfazed by swattings and pounces. It can move on textured woven rugs, though sometimes needs a little nudge to get on or off the rug. It works fine in the plastic ball, which is much smaller than my previous toy's was, a big improvement. Price is fine. Cats are thrilled.

Great toy!
My 7 yr old son loves this toy. He asked for a hamster for Christmas, but I let him know that Santa can’t carry live animals on his sleigh, so boom, this guy hit the mark. The only con is that the batteries come out of place very easily so I put electrical tape over them. Recommend it!

Only worked for 1 day
This was so so cute and fun for like 1 day. After that it stopped working and smelled like burnt plastic. Waste of money. Too bad, because the idea is so great and my 2 year old and 5 year old thought it was a real hamster and kept creating little obstacles for it to go through.

Fun toy
Cool toy. It is fun. My 6 year old loved it. The batteries may be difficult to change for some people and is hard to close the ball when the animal is on.

Cute, but really doesn’t move very fast!
It doesn’t make be very fast and batteries run out quickly. Bought it for our dog, but he wasn’t interested in it.

My 3 year old loves this toy
This is the second time I have purchased this because my 3 year old literally wore the first one out! Honestly, it is a great product we were just way to rough on it the first time and it still lasted a couple of years. Very cute durable toy but make sure you have AAA batteries on hand.

Fun toy.
We've had this a month now. My granddaughter wanted a hamster so I got her this. We have 2 cats. I dont know who's plays with it more. Its been fun. And the batteries last forever in it.
