I had to raise my motor on my mini bike for this to fit.
Update:I am raising my review to 5 stars. It was more of the motor's design flaw than the converters design that made it difficult to fit. I couldn't fit my old Comet converter on there either. Buying this torque converter was a smarter move than paying for parts on the old one. It works great once you get it on.Old review:Ok. I decided to buy this torque converter because it seemed like the smart move for my mini bike since I justreplaced the motor with the predator 212cc. "I will buy the torque converter that is MADE for this motor because it will go together easier". WRONG. The torque converter itself is great. However, it didn't fit on my mini bike with the motor. It was angled too far down and the driven clutch couldn't go any higher because the heat shield on the motor didn't give it enough space to fit between the motor and the frame. The best solution I could find was to raise the motor off of the frame by using 1.25" square metal tubing with holes from Lowes. I used the square tubing as a "spacer" and got longer bolts to bolt through the engine, tubing, frame. The clutch works great. The engine works great. It just took a lot of work to solve the problem. Now that it's solved, it is fine. If you look at the pictures, you will see that it doesn't fit in one picture, but I tried to get a good picture of the tubing.

Great customer service!
This torque converter seems to include some pretty nice quality hardware. It took a decent amount of work to get it to fit my 212cc predator mounted in a doodlebug minibike frame, but it works great!I called the seller for help with an issue and he called me back within 15 minutes on a Saturday. Excellent customer service, and fortunately I was able to get my issue resolved.Tip: If using this on something lighter than a go kart, I'd recommend putting the spring in the street setting even if you're off-road. It downshifts automatically under load, but a minibike will be under less load than a heavier go kart so mine wasn't downshifting even under full throttle until I used the street setting.

great product
used this for my kids go-cart. Works awesome, just wish the instructions where a little clearer. That said if you have any mechanical ability you should have no trouble figuring it out. I did, and the kids love it.

Be prepared for a BIG difference
Built a go kart for the grand kids a couple of years ago with a 6.5 hp Harbor Freight engine and a centrifugal clutch. Worked just OK, slow on acceleration, but would get up to speed eventually. I got everything done and tried it myself. Holy C..p, it took off like a bat out of ...., reached a speed I don't want to go again. And I'm close to 275lb.Almost too quick and fast for the younger ones, but my kids and the older grand kids had a "Blast". For the younger ones we throttled the engine down as far as it would go and it was still a bit scary for the youngest.Only "Con" would be the lack of instructions, but there were several YouTube vids that helped.Would definitely buy again and recommend. Just watch the videos first and you will have to get a few machine washers to get the alignment correct, a critical step if you want the belt to last.

Easy install, all parts provided
Everything needed for install was provided, I had a predator 212 and Coleman 200u. I used the 40 chain. I followed suggestions and got a grade 8 bolt. 5/16-20 at Ace, only .60. never had a clutch on it, but toe torque converter is really fast. Quick to top speed

GET GRADE 8 BOLT FOR MAIN SHAFT!!!
The media could not be loaded. So, this isn't the first time I have installed a torque converter on a motor. After only 2 ten minute rides, the driver pulley started making a crazy loud noise so we hit the kill switch and pushed the go kart back home. After taking the cover off, we found that the driver pulley was missing a spring because the cheap bolt snapped off in the main shaft,( Luckily I was able to remove the broken bolt from the shaft.) The pin had come out of its set hole, and ripped the drive belt, lost the washer key too dang it!!! I am soooo disappointed with this product. My son was very upset, and sad since he barely got to ride it. I don't even know if this will be made right by the company. Sell better products guys and quit taking hard earned money from people.UPDATE: Company never reached out to me, and neither did Amazon. I've been a loyal Prime Member for as long as I can remember. I can't believe I was treated this way! I guess shopping on Amazon is like shopping on wish now. So sad man.

WORTH THE MONEY!!
I put this on my boys 212cc predator motor from harbor freight and it has worked flawlessly. Only modification was i had to shave down the oil dipstick but my engine has two so not a big deal. I'll be buying another soon!!

Not the Quality I was expecting
I had my friend who works at a go-kart shop install this torque converter on my kart and I got about 15 minutes on the thing and it locks up completely shelled one of the bearings on the Jack shaft needless to say I am extremely disappointed that these were better made I wish that they were just send me a new one but I doubt that will happen
