Easy for travel or home.
It’s quite pricey but it does work well. And yes you can get clean. I really want to get another one for the shower as we age you can’t reach to well I’m 70 years young and this helps a lot. Just need another one.

Overpriced, ineffective
This is a real disappointment. It's not as easy to use as it seems to be from the instructions, and it is seriously overpriced! I cannot get it to hold toilet paper effectively and have followed the instructions very carefully.I seriously regret getting this... Unfortunately, I stupidly threw out the box in the garbage before taking out the garbage for collection, so the box is long gone and I can no longer return this. So, I'll keep it as a reminder of my carelessness and maybe try it again occasionally.I feel that products like this are priced very expensively because they know they can take advantage of the people who need it.Lastly, i was offended by the biblical quote on the top flap of the box. There is no reason for that and I found it offensive. Religion has no place in commerce, or if it is an accompaniment to a commercial product, it should be specified in the product description.

Really helpful & good product - just need to know how to use it properly
I bought this product because I have a severe back issue where I frequently can't even turn or bend depending on how bad it is each day meaning using the bathroom can be super difficult. I will say that at first I thought this thing wasn't going to work because it didn't seem to hold toilet paper right but I guess I should have read the instructions. It looked simple enough that I would figure it out. Just a little trick with the toilet paper and knowing the grips needed to be all the way in and the freedom wand did work just like its suppose to. It is easy to use after all and I like that I can travel with it too if needed. I would definitely recommend this to someone in a situation like mine where you can't really move well to reach where you need to clean.

Takes a lot of practice
There is video on YouTube that shows best how to use this and it's much better than the paper instructions that come with it. It takes a lot of practice to use properly...don't wait until you actually need it to start. There are other products out there.

It works!
I'm a 66 year old female about to have a hip replacement. I've purchased the raised toilet seat and was looking online for other assistive devices that I might need. I came across this product and thought I'd give it a try. It works for toileting but is not so useful on the butt end. (sorry, being honest) So far, this is all I have tried. In spite of what others have said, I believe it grips firmly. Be sure to watch the online tutorial and also read the pamphlet. Be very careful how you insert the toilet tissue. That is key. So far, so good. I can definitely see how this will be helpful in the very near future.

Gets the job done
I was skeptical at first. However, I needed help as I am overweight. It was easy to assemble. I watched the recommended youtube videos on how to successfully use and how to fold toilet paper (I prefer the wrap-around-the four-finger method). After a couple of days, I fully understood how to effectively use this product. It gets the job at hand done 95%. One drawback--i felt the product was overpriced. Regardless, I am fully satisfied with purchase.

This does not work as a toilet wiping assistance tool.
I have major shoulder surgery coming up so I tested this and other similar products. This one does not work if there is the slightest friction, resistance or touch. The soft jaws release whatever is being held easily and even when the lever to close the jaws is being manually depressed. The primary purpose of this tool is to allow one to clean oneself. It fails in this regard. If you need something to pick up debris on the side of the road better tools exist. This has no place in a handicapped person's bathroom.

Too large a tip to fit between glutes
After triple fusion on lower back, needed to reach better to wipe. Ordered the plastic light blue utensil, this light green/white utensil and stainless steel tongs. Only the tongs have a narrow enough tip on the end to fit close enough to wipe fully. The least expensive but reaches far enough and is super strong. Highly recommend the tongs.
