These were thin and lightweight which is what I was looking for. I wanted to use them for rollerderby. The reason I'm returning them is that they weren't stretchy at all. So they fit really snug in the legs, but the material was almost like a mesh and the waist part didn't fit snugly. I was hoping for almost like a yoga/legging/neoprene material so that they would stay put while moving.

I bought these for snowboarding. They are great, light weight, protective, not bulky, comfortable. I would recommend to any beginner snowboarders!

My fiance wore these during our week-long trip to Copper Mountain. She thinks they are wonderful...light and thin but with good padding.
