More amazing recipes from Marcy Goldman
This book has it all. Incredible recipes - from classics to a host of new spins, including Nutella Banana Bread, Greek Yogurt Blueberry muffins, Carrot Cake Cheesecake (beyond awesome), Cocoa Chocolate Layer Cake, even terrific preserves to go with the baking - along with great tips and a wonderful chapter of delicious teas that you can make yourself. I call a cookbook like this PERFECT. I love the sidebars - it is great to get Marcy Goldman’s professional advice - I find that I get perfect results every time. I use her method for baking biscotti - they look absolutely professional each time and they are delicious! This book is a joy to read - and fun to bake from. The bonus offer of 4 months free access to Betterbaking.com is an extra treat. I bought her “When Bakers Cook” cookbook last year (it is on the Washington Post’s “Best Cookbooks of 2014"). My family is hooked on the Brownie Stuffed Tollhouse cookies from that book. What will I bake next? That is my only problem - each page is a recipe I want to try. Thank you Marcy for another fabulous cookbook.

A book to bake your way through - Marcy's best yet.
Marcy Goldman has outdone herself - and that is not easy to do. Her latest baking book is just draw-dropping, mouth-watering, you get the idea. The format in print is clean and easy to read. The book is large, with room to write notes on the page. There are recipes, tips, guidelines, baking, tea, seasons. It is a book you just want to bake your way through for years to come. I bought the kindle version, too, and it is a treat on Kindle. Clear and easy to read, and use, in the kitchen. An extra bonus - the photos on Pinterest. Such a great way to have the best of all worlds. I use Marcy's recipes from her prior books and BetterBaking.com at almost every holiday meal for our family, so I have no doubt that the quality of her recipes will be wonderful. But the format of this new cookbook is really an extra treat.

Anyone who returns this cookbook because it doesn't have pictures is really doing themselves a disservice. Pictures are not necessary to complete the recipes (if you really want to know what something looks like in general - e.g., a babka - just google it). This is hands down the best baking book I have ever found. I bake daily and this is my go-to-resource. Every single recipe works out perfectly. I have decided to just get rid of the rest of my baking cookbooks, because this is the only one I'll every need. Having said that, I am intending to try her other cookbooks out now too. Buy this book and you won't be disappointed.

Fantastic book for bakers!
I've always loved Marcy Goldman's recipes and this book is filled with classic as well as new ones. Beautiful photos to inspire, and easy-to-follow directions make this a great cookbook. Marcy is my go-to person whenever I want a no-fail, delicious recipe! I can't wait to bake my way through this book! A great bonus for everyone who buys this book is 4 month access to betterbaking.com's recipe archive. Well worth the price!

A must-have for cookbook collection....
Once again Marcy Goldman has achieved Baker's Nirvana! I read a cookbook like a novel and put so many bookmarks that it's difficult to choose which one to make first! The instructions are always clear and concise. I know that the finished product will be exactly as it should. Looking forward to hours of happy baking and happy recipients of delicious creations.....!

Very disappointed. No pictures
Very disappointed. No pictures. Too much $$. But that is not why I rated this 3 stars when I definitely like the organization and impressive recipe selection for this new book produced by Marcy Goldman. It is because The one recipe which caught my attention listed in the chapter Fall / Big Baking...cinnamon vanilla swirled kuchen is MISSING, NOT THERE, FORGOTTEN!!

Ms. Goldman has some very wonderful recipes. I haven't tried any in this book yet, although some look promising.I am disappointed in the book itself, because it is a flimsy softcover book, with no photographs, and in my opinion should not cost $25.00 because of that.

Great book but...
I bought this book knowing that there were no illustrations. I've got several other books by Marcy Goldman and love her recipes. However, when I received it the lack of pictures let the book down. The amount of text and the notion of a seasonal cook book really needs some illustration.
