Even after going online and finding what was suppose to be the perfect dough recipe for rolling pin embossing, this simply does not work. After baking you could only see a faint trace of the image on the sugar cookie.

Not good quality unless you like splinters in your cookies.

This rolling pin was useless for two reasons. First, it was slightly warped. Secondly, the imprint was not deep enough. I would not recommend this product.

Very small and cheaply made. Doesn't even roll like a rolling pin should. It says on the package "Environmental Health" and "Natural no paint". But in order to make the reindeers and Christmas trees stand out, it is obvious that they stained the wood.The pattern is VERY shallow. They did NOT include any recipe to use with this roller. UGH! BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE!Since it is "raw wood", you will have to use a food safe wood finish (used for wooden cutting boards) inorder to maintain it. Otherwise the dampness from washing it and using it will make it split.I WILL TIE A RED CHRISTMAS RIBBON AROUND BOTH ENDS TO HIDE THE SHODDY WORKMANSHIP AND USE IT AS A CHRISTMAS DECORATION.
