Gorgeous pallet
Some complained about price but when you break it down let pants not high priced at all for the quality. Deep saturated colors are impressive, moody, and calming all at the same time.

A great palette set!
This is my first, high quality, pan set of paints and I absolutely love these!Daniel Smith paints are very high quality. They activate very easily with just the smallest touch of water, they flow and blend smoothly, and they lift well.This set is put together specifically with the idea of desert earth-tones in mind. If you enjoy painting the American Southwest, as I do, then this is definitely a must-have set of paint.While I would have liked a couple of additional colors, one of the very nice aspects to this set is that there are empty half-pans included in the kit. Was easy to add some quinacridone red and Hooker's green to a pan to get the set I will use a lot, and still there's room to add more colors as I choose (probably a blue or two for sky colors).Whether you are a new or established artist, this is a set of paint, in a great palette, that you will want to have. Now I want all the different Daniel Smith palette sets!

The best watercolors ever
The brightest colors, full pigment, amazing flow!! The best watercolors I have ever tried. Maybe a bit expensive for a beginner, but totally worth the cost as they are levels up compared to any other brand. Also you can buy tubes and add in the boxes the extra colors of your choice. I am amazed.

These are nice colors, but so disappointed that they are not filled to the top, and have also been used. Like the little half pan.

What is there to say that hasn't already been said. It's everything one would expect from ds paints. The palette isn't the greatest design but then again, what the heck do you want for a few dollars. I have no complaints.
