Treasures, A Reading/Language Arts Program, Grade 1, Book 2 Student Edition (ELEMENTARY READING TREASURES)

I absolutely love this series. Make sure you grab the other books for literacy in the series. These books are very easy to use and understand. I use them with my son and daughter for our homeschool literature. They love the stories, spelling, grammar, and practice assignments. They flow so nicely together that even though my children are different grade levels, many of the subject or language being thought is similar so I can review the lessons together with them both. They love the writing assignments at the end of each lesson. I really wish this went beyond 6th grade.

I bought this to use for homeschool since my other two children used it through private school when they were younger. Book came in a very timely manner and in excellent condition

This is an excellent book for young readers who are on grade level. If your child is reading slowly, this is not the book. The first real story in this book is fifteen pages long. Children who are on grade level get tired reading by the end of it.

I like these books for teaching kids. The're a little pricey, but otherwise no complaints. By the way, it turns out you really can't ride a seahorse like Aquaman did on the Super Friends. Strangely, I feel somehow deceived.
