Logan Sport Whistle & Sailing Rope Lanyard (Red)

Great quality, metal whistle from one of the best known manufacturers. The lanyard is nice, but I doubt I will ever use the storage pouch as the whistle is either hanging up or round my neck.Never used one before, but was whistling like a nightingale after a few minutes, just follow the instructions or look online and you will suss it out and after that it feels fairly natural to use.Would recommend practising in a car or fairly soundproof area as it is pretty loud ( and won't confuse your dog!)I have a Black Lab, who is very food orientated, so started recalling almost immediately with the whistle using a dog treat as a reward.

Looks great, works great took about 10 min to get a sound. Works great for my beagle recall!

By far the best sheepdog whistle out there. Can be heard by the dog for a considerable distance and I find I get better reactions from my collies with this then a standard gun dog whistle. Being able to make various noises also helps build a list of different commands.Quick note for those not in the know, if you have never used a shepherds whistle before you will have to practice it considerably before introducing it to your dog or you will just become agitated and confuse the dog. Also sounds basic enough but I know some people will just expect to blow the whistle, you do actually have to train the dog to come back!!! In conclusion a good whistle worth the money

I've bought this whistle to aid with training my sheepdog, however I've never used a whistle in my life, so although it's straight forward to use it, it does take some practice. And to become competent (blow more than one basic sound) I will need some training before the dog! It is a super quality whistle and the lanyard that it comes with is really handy as you can have it hanging round your neck rather than searching for it. I'm really chuffed with it and would definitely recommend it.

I used this after months of training myself how to blow properly, and it makes a fantastic whistle. Good tone and easy to use with a bit of practise I can play a little tune on it now.
