UPDATE: I've had this boot dryer for a little over a year, and since I only have one pair of work shoes, I use it every day. It works great! I usually use the 4-hr setting, but after a long, hot, hard day, I've used the 8-hr setting. My shoes are dry and stink-free the next day every time. Even when I wore heavy, leather sterl toe boots, this dryer did a fantastic job. And it's still going strong. Highly recommend!I use these in my work boots to keep them dry and un-stinky. Great compact design. Works perfectly. I like this much better than the tall, stand-up style, which tended to topple over from being top heavy.

I am a little unsure about this item. I used it for drying my husbands sneakers when he came home while it was pouring outside. I left the dryer on for an hour just like the instructions say, but at the end, the shoes were not dry or at least how you would expect them to be after being “dried” for an hour. Will keep updating as I kee figuring it out how to best use this dryer.

NFG.... Definitely not a boot drier! No I mean boots, not tall hiking sneakers and work shoes. Probably be fine for hiking boots and work boots not much over ankle high. But not real boots. Just not long enough from the Y to the heater. But then I should have looked closer and asked questions before purchasing. I just dropped the ball on this purchase. The description says works on boots shoes etc..... Just not real boots

The plastic melted inside our boot, when used normally, the second time we used them. They're now useless. We didn't use them until after the return date, so i can't return them. I will contact the seller and update if they do anything about it.

We have lots of ski boots that need drying; these are great. Not fast, since there's no fan, but haven't minded. Timer lets you set it for 4, 8, or 12 hrs. I like that I can leave it plugged in; our older one had to be plugged in and unplugged every time. And if you leave it for days, it doesn't run forever either.

These do not dry shoes any faster than leaving them overnight - they were on in my leather boots for 16 hours and the boots were still mostly wet. Cheap, but not worth it unless you are willing to leave them on in boots for 24 plus hours, but if you want them dry over night to work the next day forget it.

Use these all the time to dry out my hiking boots. They are almost always going in one pair or another. They are hot enough to kill the bad bugs in your boots and also kill the Bad Smell.

This product is just a plug and dry it does not have a timer has a light that comes on to let you know it is working you must unplug for it to stop it does work well just remember to unplug it
