Torn / Sometimes / Frightened Child

I've listened to Natalie Imbruglia's work since it first was released in 1998. Through the years I am always buying her new releases. But my two favourites were on this album, Torn/Wishing I Was There. As of now I am rocking out to these two, loving every moment.Over all I recommend this, it's fresh and showcases two of Natalie's best works.

The single has Natalie's biggest radio hits from her debut; Torn and Wishing I was There. I'm pretty sure you know them.Torn has the lovely guitar entrance, the perfect but sad lyrics, the wonderful video and the catchy chorus. One of the best songs ever.Wishing I was there has a loud entrance, and will catch your ear straight away. The chorus isn't that catchy, but after a while you will want to listen to this track over and over again, and it will never get bored.

When Natalie Imbruglia first debuted, I have to admit I wasn't listening to popular music much. This song really caught my interest (an almost undeniable fact that it was morbidly overplayed). I love the opening guitar and drums, it's simplistic. Then comes the voice of what I remember many as claiming was an angel's. Well, in reality, it was just Natalie Imbruglia, a singer with a style all her own."Torn" is one of those songs that bridges the gap between pop and adult contemporary/new age. The backing vocals are stunning! One of those songs anyone and everyone can relate to, and I think it would appeal to fans of most any kind of music.

Torn is just an awesome song. The lyrics and the music are both beautiful. I was blown away when I first heard it. This is an excellent song and one of my favorites.

Natalie is a good artist. I like this song and all of my friends like it to. She is very talented. TORN is the name of her biggest song, and that's the one I like the best, even though they're all good. You should buy this CD. It is AWESOME!!!!! Check out her MUSICVIDEO too!!!

Natalie Imbruglia is shining and her hit single, "Torn" is wonderful! I haven't heard such good music since the premiere of Savage Garden's single, "Truly, Madly, Deeply". I can't wait to see what Natalie will come up with next! And I am not the only one that likes it: its THE most popular song at my Junior High!

This is a great single! I listen to it everyday! I'm 10 and I love it! A great gift for preteens!

When I received the cd, I was disappointed with the cd cover and box, didnt think to check what was on the cover or the tracks that was on the cd cover, I suddenly discovered that I bought the wrong CD, I thought it was the album and then remembered the name of the album wasnt torn. Not the fault of the seller, the cd was in good condition.
