It fit
Kids broke it in, runs strong, amazed to find a replacement engine/transmission at this price. Had to tweek the motor mounts in a 125 SSR and it's been running great so far. Only negetive is, it does not have insulaters in the moter mount bosses like the old moter, runs great, just vibrates pretty good.

125 on my xr70
It runs great, plenty of power ! Had to do some extensions on the brake pedal to accommodate the new engine but I do really like the engine put on the 2003 xr70 honda

Fit great, runs strong, after 2 days of riding it isn’t shifting right.
It was shifting fine for 2 days. Now it doesn’t go in to 1st unless you’re already riding and shift down. Sometimes it will shift up to 3 and 4 sometimes it’s just stuck in 2. Also jumping out of gear into neutral from time to time.

Disappointed
Engine works. Started right up once installed. This is not 4 up, this 1 down and 3 up. This is also set up for an electric start. The description is wrong. I made it work on my daughters dirtbike though I specifically picked this because it was supposed to by 4 up which what she was used to. Had to reseal the main seal on the gear that turns the chain, it started leaking oil immediately. Though it is an easy fix, it's not something we should have to fix so soon. Disappointed.

Ssr125
Swapped it into an ssr 125. Mounted right up, only issue was the drive sprocket was bigger and had one more tooth. Ran it for a couple hours and now it’s worn in and fine. great engine!

Description is misleading
Had customer purchase and have delivered to me. Showed up box was ruff oil leaked through. No problem engine was fine. So is not a semi auto transmission. It's a manual transmission requiring a clutch handle. Purchased becuasue needed to match up to original parts it looks like it will bolt up no problem problem is this one has breaks on both handle bars and they are welded on handles. Dont think it is an electric start and bet it dont have reverse but that's a guess on the reverse gear.

Runs good, but...
Installed this in my son's dirtbike, the drive sprocket had so much play in it that it caused the chain to come off and break which broke the cover and magneto off.. serious design flaw. Can't say enough about the company though. I called Amazon and they put me in contact with the company and had me submit this same picture and 2 days later they were sending me a new motor. Prompt and professional.
