Seems to stop working more then it works.
It works fine for a while but then suddenly turns the skimmer off when its not even close to full. I went to bed with less the 1/4 inch of liquid in my skimmer cup and woke up to find the alarm on this going off, it had not filled up any more and the line of liquid was a good 2 inches away. It it is to sensitive or something is wrong with it. Not sure what else to try I don't trust that it will work.

Doesn’t Work
I don’t normally write reviews but DO NOT waste your money on this. I really wanted it to work but after one day, it shut my skimmer off(for reasons unknown since my skimmer cup was empty) and I could not get the skimmer to turn back on when plugged in to the sensor. I followed the instructions to clean the sensor, skimmer wall and made sure the sensor was aligned with the magnet. None of these worked. After messing with it for a half hour I still could not get the skimmer to turn on. I may have just gotten a bad unit but given others are having the same issues, I don’t think so.

Don’t know if I’d have a tank without this guy on it again
This thing saved me a few times from that nasty fish smell that can fill a room to tell you there a even worse mess to clean up around the stand. Stand saver floor and wall protection. Easy to clean with the cup. I will not own a protein skimmer without one again.

Inaccurate
Unit would sense cup being full with nothing in it. Will be sending it back for refund.

Anti Flood for skimmer
It is the best way to save your self from your skimmer going crazy, a need for peoplewho really can’t watch your system 24/7. I would recommend this to everyone!!! Game changer for your skimmer

Can’t get it to work on my skimmer
It works well if I use it on a sub for an auto top off but for some reason in my skimmer it gets dirty so fast it always turns off
