Decent cabinet and board. Recommended.
I bought the premium setup in an oak finish. I thought I’d post a review as there are many older reviews with negative comments. This is my first dart board purchase and I wanted to get something that wasn’t a cheapie, but didn’t want to break the bank either. The board arrived in good condition, and was doubled boxed and padded. The doors were installed correctly and function just fine. The quality of the wood used is ok. I believe it’s stained pine, but the fit is fine and the finish is evenly done. Looks good. Something I’d rather they did different, was the back piece is just pressboard, with a type of felt like lining on the inside. It’s a bit thin and flexes. Seems kinda cheap. I added a thin sheet of plywood cut to size behind the board when I mounted it to give it extra strength. Not sure it’s needed, but I figured it could only help. There is a sheet of paper with a template for mounting the cabinet, but I didn’t use it. I just measured and marked where I wanted it. There are predrilled holes in each corner of the inside cabinet. So I just used a punch to poke thru where my first hole was going, drilled my hole, then put a bolt through thru the hole to hold the cabinet up. Went down to the opposite corner and did the same thing so I could have both corners installed. Be sure to use a level when you drill your second hole to insure your cabinet will be level. Then just drilled out the remaining two holes, and the cabinet was up.There is a pre-installed board hangar already in place, so it was just a matter of putting the screw in the back of the board, and hanging it in the cabinet. You will need to experiment with how deep to put the screw in the get a tight fit in the cabinet. I was surprised at the weight of the board. It’s pretty heavy. More than the cabinet. Seems to be well made and durable. And I like the thin wires they used to mark off the sections of the board. The outer ring numbered part is separate and is held in place with plastic brackets so you can easily rotate the board if one section starts to have too much wear. But the way I throw, that’ll be awhile. I stink at it. Lol. There are also 3 plastic bumper thingies that go on the back of the board to stop it from wobbling on the board hangar. I found those didn’t work all that well but it was easy enough to slide a cardboard spacer behind to steady the board. No biggee.I also added the Viper above board light, the battery powered version. I really recommend it as it lights up the board nicely, then flips up out of the way when you’re done playing. And it’s low cost.I looked up the dart rules before I installed the cabinet, and it says the center of the bull is to be 68” from the floor, so that’s how high I hung it. Then the throwing line (ochre) is about 7’9” from the board. So allow for room where you hang it. I was surprised they hang the board so high truthfully. Now, I soon discovered that 68” really puts the board up high. I am 5’10” tall, so the center bull was about eye level to me. The double 20 on the board even higher. So I was throwing up hill so to speak. Even worse for my wife, who’s shorter than I. Being a beginner, my accuracy is bad enough, but having it that high up, didn’t help at all. Since I’m not going to be in a league or going pro anytime soon, and just play for fun, I moved the cabinet down to make it more enjoyable to use for me. If you are going to go with the 68”, maybe put a piece of tape or something up to mark where your center will be. It’s higher than you think. So if you are just using it in your game room for fun, you may want to mount it lower. Just saying. So after all that, I’d recommend this setup quite readily. Now, an experienced darts person is likely to spend more for a cooler setup, but for the average guy playing for fun, this is all you need I think.

Poor Quality Because of he Type of Wood Used
Do not expect a product that you will be proud of. The cabinet is made of pine which has "cheap" written all over it. Unfortunately, the right door has warped a full 1/2 inch out of square which looks terrible when both doors are closed. There was a template enclosed that you were suppose to use to attach the bracket inside the case that the dart board hangs on. The bracket was already installed (crooked) so I do not know why the template was even included. The botton of the cabinet includes a velcro insert with pockets for holding various dart supplies. It looked "cheap" as well so luckily it was removable and that is exactly what I did with it. This left more room for a dry erase marker and an eraser.

Over priced but decent not great. Wife loves it though.
This cabinet and dart board set do the job. The cabinet isn’t fancy by any stretch of the imagination. The magnet for the score marker doesn’t hold at all. The rubber stand offs for the back of the dart board are to small to keep it stable due to the amount the u bracket that holds the dart board sticks out. I had to add extra screws in the back to make stable. The anchors that come with it don’t hold well in the wall so I ended up using different screws and anchors. The dart board itself is decent but the holes don’t close and you could still see what I imagine is the spots where they tested the board at the factory(not a big deal). This set up does look nice but it still seems over priced for what it is. It also only came with only 1 set of darts. I do really like the set of darts it did come with though. It is what was advertised and was cheaper than most cabinet sets but still seemed over priced at around $150 for the elite set. This was a gift for my wife and she does seem to love it, so it can’t be that bad.

Nice Cabinet
This is a First Impression Review.Decent looking Cabinet but the color was darker than expected, was suppose to be Oak on pine, should have been a honey pine but when I took it out of the box it was almost red.Condition of Cabinet is good, board looks good, two sets of Darts but not the Viper Black Mariars (sp) that were said to be with the package.Pros:Nice lookingAppear good qualityCons:--- Color is off --- big one for me !Back of Cabinet is pressed paper board... should have been at least a good quality Partical Board or better 1/4 inch plywood.Board mounting hardware came with the board and the cabinet, extra doesn't hurt.Easy board setup, decent directions, when mounting the Thumb Screws, I used the numbers on the front board to align them, I started at 6 o'clock, and then added them at 2 and 10... worked for me.With the lesser reviews I was a little leery about buying this package but I am glad I did, it is a good package and a decent board. One more thing, I have not installed the Cabinet on the wall as yet, I have only installed the board in the cabinet... I will post back when I do BUT I am very picky about mounting the cabinet so it may not reflect on the directions as some my think.05/31/2021 - Update.I reduced the Stars to 4, why... two reasons:1) The Hinges on the left door, do not hold the door shut anymore (short while), waiting to see if the right door hinges do the same, sooner than later. I'm looking at a latch to keep the doors shut.2) The Viper Board, the number ring... the more I looked at it the more evident the problem became. Some of the numbers should be shaped better. The "5's" are just an upside down "2" (5 and 15); some of the "1's" are upside down, the 10, 15, 17, 19, and 16, are mounted on the ring incorrectly.Poor Quality Control is what I am thinking. It is too bad because the rest of the package isn't too bad.The healing on the board seems to happen in two steps, when you first take the dart out of the board the inner bristles heal then after a while the outer bristles heal, not a problem for me right now, I have read where people think the healing is immediate.I have mounted the Cabinet and Board to the wall, different than what the directions say, otherwise I would ask for a replacement.Check your package over when you get it, make sure everything is the way you want it or what you will accept. The Package is a good idea, decent parts but there is always one or two things that are not right.I'm thinking, too much, but I'm thinking that some of the items sold on Amazon are defective in some way and this package seems to be how I mentioned.I'm not against Amazon, totally the opposite way, but I'm thinking some of the Sellers are selling their not so A-1 products.

Good dart board cabinet
Looks good, but would look better if the doors would touch in the middle. The crack is a bit wide.Easy to installl, looks tough and durable.
