Q: Is the unit compatible with nitrogen cartridges for beer/coffee?

No, a nitrogen faucet is required. This uses a standard beer faucet, which won’t give you the desired “nitro pour”. They require different PSI pressures and the faucets have different internal parts to match CO2 vs nitrogen.

Q: Can you force carbonate wine to make a sparkling wine with this ?

Yes you can use this for wine, but the wine won't be as carbonated as you probably might like. It will not have the same carbonation as say a D'asti type wine unless the wine is already carbonated. The CO2 here is meant really only for pressurization for dispensing and maybe maintaining carbonation but not necessarily for carbonating the beverage.

Q: If I poor store bought beer in this. Will it taste like draft beer from the tap at a bar?

Most likely the beer will taste about the same as in the bottle or can. The CO2 cartridge is primarily to add pressure to the keg to force the beer up the delivery tube to the tap. It does not add carbonation to the beer.
