The media could not be loaded.  As an avid novice embroiderer I really like this hoop stand. My dilemma is the stand comes with a hoop attached to the stand so switching out hoops is not possible. I am never working on ONE project (I’m not a monogamous crafter) so switching hoops would be a useful feature for me. It is sturdy for what it is. Easy to use and very good value for the money, especially if you are a monogamous crafter.

I read the reviews about how some buyers had to improvise a fix due to stripping of the holes happening very quickly. However, I didn't think it would happen in the first few days of having the item. The hole in the base, where the post screws in (holding it all together), stripped in a matter of days, rendering it unable to be used at all. Thankfully, I have a friend who helped me with fixing it and by adding a bolt on the end, it's now together practically forever.This is a great item for stitchers, it makes it very easy to work on projects without holding the hoop and hand fatigue, but for the price, I wish I had just went ahead and bought a free standing floor version for a little more and not have to deal with fixing this. This is cheap, and like I said, you get what you pay for. If you are handy and have spare parts lying around, it might be worth it for you.

Works great but I wish I could use my own hoop.

I do not like the screw apparatus. It is made of wood and It loosens up on its own when you are working with it and the wooden peg that holds the hoop loosely fits into the post .You constantly have to keep tightening it so it can be used. It needs to be improved.

It is not as sturdy as I had hoped and it does not stay tight when you tighten the knob because it is wood. I will still try to use it some.

Though the hoop tension is good, the knobs don't tighten and so the hoop comes out of the hole. Great idea but too cheaply made.

This stand is amazing! My embroidery just got much faster and better. Because I can adjust the height and the angle of the stand and of the circle, I don't have to slouch anymore.Thank you for the great product!

It won't stay, I have been on the same project and it's already weak.... Not worth the money.
