Out of 5 house cats and 2 stray, NONE will eat it. I have 2 that are on a low cal high protein diet so I tried this. They love any fish flavor. Nope . Not into healthy.

Ok, I admit it. My little girl is very spoiled and picky. She had previously been on a food that I had delivered to us from a company that produced it in small, monthly batches, so we never had to deal with old pet food that may have been sitting in a warehouse somewhere for who knows how long. But I lost my delivery person, so I had to scramble to find a new food. The lady who was my former delivery person suggested Blackwood. I looked into it, compared ingredients, and tried a small bag. My cat loved it from the start. It's not the tiny kibble pellets, which she TOTALLY rejects, but a small triangle shape she can handle without regurgitation. It seems to be easy for her to break up, agrees with her smell test, and she eats less (because it's not stuffed with fillers), and her poop is solid and almost odor free. She seems to like the dry so much, I may try the wet food, too, eventually.

I bought this because it's low in calories for weight control - arthritis, very low in phosphorus for urinary tract care and its not to high in protein for kidney care.I would have preferred a pure salmon or fish diet but the cats love this meal. It's probably due to the duck. It's relative, others might not like it. But I think I've finally found something with all the nutritional values I like and my cats like.The problem is I bought it for $31 13lbs and now it's $44. Argh...

Great value for the price. I was surprised that the cat food actually smelled like edible food. I think they might be just a little too hard though because my cat is having some difficulty in chewing them. Therefore she is not eating very much. I've tried mixing it with another crunchy food to coax her into eating it. The little stinker leaves this food behind in the bowl, untouched.

I have 3 cats and one of them had very bad poops from this product. Will not be using again. :(

My cat loved this food. But I just can’t justify the cost of it.

Quality food at an outstanding price! I used to get it from Chewy but the price here was better!!!
