Wow! Very impressed!
So I had a stroke 9 years ago. It left me with 90% weaknesss on the entire right side of my body. It’s been a long road, and I had to learn how to write again, tie my shoes, walk, etc. I have had SO many AFOs for my dropfoot. The fancy thick metal kind (way too stiff). AFOs with springs to give me more action on the ball of my foot (way too bulky). My favorite was my thin plastic AFO that simply lifted my heel. But whenever the weather gets cold, my leg movement becomes very stiff and stilted by that AFO because it wraps around just below the knee. Also some pant legs won’t allow me to lift that high to put on the AFO! Also, I’ve gone through 3 of those because one snapped in half and the velcro doesn’t stick anymore (expensive!).Enter this brace. 9 years ago resources were very limited on Amazon. This brace has changed my life. I don’t believe I will ever have to put on another AFO again. Because of the low wrapping point of the brace on the ankle, my leg is much freer to move and bend. The neoprene material is flexible enough to bend, but stiff enough to lift the foot. I didn’t think it would fit in my shoe, but it actually fits better than my thinnest AFO. It just feels like a thick sock. Doesn’t cut off my circulation either!I do have to say, though, that this brace feels most comfortable when over the sock, not under. And it does not lift my dropfoot as high as my other AFO. But it still lifts it just enough for walking. I am pretty advanced, though, in my stroke recovery, where I’ve gotten 80% of my mobility back through years of PT. This brace might not be enough for severe dropfoot, but for me, it was the PERFECT brace to graduate to from my stiffer AFO. I am so much lighter on my feet now, and I don’t have to be embarrassed by my leg brace at parties anymore. Thank you Aider!!!

A TRUE MIRACLE!
For 6 years, I've been diagnosed with CIDP, an auto immune disease that over time resulted in 100% drop foot. Walking inverted, no balance, shuffling instead of walking, bashing into things and afraid to be out in public for fear of falling.I researched ever kind of brace, none looking like they were the right thing to help me walk. Then I found this product. It seemed like it might help so I took a chance and ordered. Well...The minute I put them on, I knew I made the right choice. My balance immediately improved, I was walking heel to toe like normal people and, the best part, I barely knew I had them on. I wore them all day without irritation and felt like I found a miracle! I'm on my 2nd day now and feel like I now stand a chance of being in public or at work without crashing into something!Everyone is different but if you have a severe case of drop foot, you REALLY should try this. Get both Left and Right. I hope you can find your own miracle with them!

Disappointed this time!
I buy a brace in advance, so when my current one wears out, I have another ready. With that said, I can't send it back at this point - here's the problem. The pad that goes under your foot has been stitched incorrectly and it's making an upside down "V" in my arch. I have nerve damage, it feel like I'm stepping on a sharp object.. anyone knows with nerve damage, you know it's intensified. It's incredibly painful. On the positive, this is probably my 5th or 6th brace, and the first to have an issue.

Great for the pool!
These wrap braces are great to use in the pool and for walking around my house in shorts. I have drop foot and big toes that just hang so I can’t walk barefoot. These braces allow me to do water aerobics. Love them!

Aider foot drop brace
This brace slips around, is uncomfortable and causes pain. Not worth a dime!
