The pad size is misleading, it’s 1 1/2 at the velcro and 2” at the foam since it’s tapered. So if you have a 2” backing plate like I do, the pad is too small.

Better products out there. One and done for me. I'll stick to DRC 1000 pads

I had some smaller areas I needed a pad that would allow me to accomplish some fine paint correction. I think you could use whatever level of abrasive and get a decent result. I used a polish to address some fine scratches and this worked perfectly for what I needed to accomplish.

I used this to remove some heavier scratches I found on my wife's month old car. I used this with Chemical Guys 34 compound and it worked better than I expected. I wasn't sure if the scratches had penetrated the clear coat, but they were heavy enough that I was skeptical they wouldn't be visible with any amount of polishing. Luckily, the blue/white microfiber pad got rid of the scratches and I was able to see that the defects didn't penetrate the clear coat.

The description said would work with cyclo polisher but the pads are very small. Meguiars microfiber 3-inch pads are actually bigger than this. Very, very, very, disappointed will not be buying anything else from Adams.

Nice quality polishing pads. My only complaint is mine arrived stained while still in the package.

Great pads, will be buying more. They offer a great cut and Polish.
