Great lights but it looks like it articulates left to right at the base but it doesn't.

My husband and I are building a house and we've bought a LOT of lights so far. I really like the look of swing arm lights, but most of them are at least $100. A set of two of these is still less than one light of other brands that we've bought. Those more expensive lights still our favorites, but we still really like these lights.The worst part of these lights is that they came completely disassembled so you have to thread the wire through the (very narrow) arms yourself as well as attach the arms together. It's not incredibly difficult, but it is tie consuming and it's easy to put things on backward and then have to redo it. The instructions are definitely not super clear.Long story short, the price on this is what really makes it worth getting. If you're looking to save a little bit of money these are a good option.

Love the look. Love the price. A few months after purchasing we finally got the chance to install (plug-in version,). Bolting the plate to wall, adding a light-bulb, adjusting arms and then plugging in. One light worked fantastic but the 2nd light worked for about a day, then we heard a "pop" and the light would not work at all. Contacted shop and quickly received new working lights. Works great!

I love these. I read the reviews before purchasing and to the people that had a hard time putting these together. Seriously? My 15 yr old put them together. Super easy . As far as install again super easy except for someone that has never done electrical before I’m sure it could be a little scary . Watch some YouTube videos and you will see how simple it is. As for the quality , they exceeded my expectations. The price was great. I would def buy again and recommend .

The lamps were reasonably priced and looked nice when completed. The assembly was time consuming even for someone who’s done this same thing previously: 1. Instructions were extremely minimal 2. as others have noted, it’s impossible to thread the covered wires through the lamp arms without modifying. I had to use a coat hanger to try and open the area or wires would get stuck. This is easier said than done as it was metal pieces attached to painted inside surface. 3. The jointed areas where the arms meet are not able to be tightened to any degree that would support the arms being held up without using extra hardware I rigged at home.

I ordered these adjustable arm lamps for my art studio. They looked perfect for what I needed to light up my table workspace. No where in the description did it mention that the lamps would arrive unassembled, so I was quite surprised when I opened the box. Now, I am pretty handy at putting things together so I just pulled out all the parts and the instructions and started to assemble the lamps. The instructions were very difficult to understand, and try as I might, I could not put the lamps together. One of the main problems was that the electrical cord was too thick to fit through the space allowed at the adjustable hinge. Typically I can figure stuff like this out, but it was so frustrating (and, eventually, also time consuming) that I gave up and returned the lamps.If I could reorder them pre-assembled, I would because I think they are good looking lamps.

These lamps are great! We love them. Luckily my husband is an electrician. If you read it DOES say to hire an electrician to install the lamps. They do not come assembled. Great product. Great quality. If we ever need more we will order again!

We purchased 2 of these lamps as task lamps in our kitchen remodel. They can be used as a plug in or direct connection. They come in pieces and must be assembled. They look great as accent pieces as well as providing task lighting. We have them on a dimmer switch so they can provide soft ambient lighting as well.

These are fully assembled lights and they wall mount easily. They look great. I wonder about the durability moving forward because the wing nuts need to be loosened and re-tightened each time you adjust the position of the lamp, which is also a bit of a nuisance.However, for the price, they are great.

There isn’t a ton to say here. These fixtures look great, hinges work properly, and they provide a good amount of light. They’d soften an industrial look or sharpen a more traditional / farmhouse decor. They’re great. Also, super easy to install with the option to leave the plug in cord exposed or to wire directly. I left the cord exposed because I’m lazy.

Good value for the price. The one shad arrived with a small dent, but we just made sure it faces the wall.
