I enjoyed all the tunes in this book.

I like the finger notes for the tin whistle , I would have liked more traditional music however I know this will help my tin whistle progress and there are more books available with different kinds of music

Very simple to follow notation and tabs for the whistle. I've purchased the entire set of books. Highly recommended for beginners or for teachers with students of all ages. A good variety of songs, easy to see and read finger charts ar included. There are onky a few with alternate notes than I recall. It is a great little book. It does need help staying open.

Fun songs to play.

Not as amazing as I had hoped for but still okay. Some of the songs had different lyrics than normal which I found a bit bothersome. Despite that, I found it helpful for a beginner like myself in explaining how to get which note, etc.

For the price paid I was a little disappointed. There are some good songs in the book but you could easily find as many and more online. The book doesn't go much beyond just giving you the song and the basic way of playing it, zero ornamentation etc. It's fairly easy to find sheet music online with whistle fingerings so this book is probably only worth it if you have no idea about Irish music and are looking for a starting off point. Even then there's probably a better option.
