UPDATE: over a year later and many washes the bed had flattened out a bit. Normal wear, nothing unexpected for any dog bed. I'm actually surprised it wasn't completely worn out from all the use (and some abuse :). The outer cover is still like new after all this time - just the inner ring padding flattened a little. We'll get many more years from this bed. But because my pibble has arthritis, I added some shredded memory foam filler (filled a mesh laundry bag and put in middle of bagel). It's perfect for her now.‐-----------------------The second I took it out of the box my pibble climbed in to test, and definitely gave it the seal of approval :)We got the 36 inch size. My pibble is 60 lbs, and my 40 lbs mini bull terror can squeeze in and snuggle, too.This will be great in the winter when they get cold. Currently, I wrap blankets around the rims of their beds for extra warmth. This essentially does the same thing, as they squish down into the center of the bed.They both like this one the best out of all their various beds, so I think I'll get a second one so they each have their own.

First impression, since these just arrived yesterday, is that the covers feel very luxurious and seem fairly heavy duty. One of my dogs is leery of anything new, so she hasn’t shown a lot of interest yet. But I got these primarily to see if they helped my dog with separation anxiety. I adopted him over a year ago, and despite all the work I’ve done to build his confidence, he is just as clingy as ever. Literally follows me everywhere and sleeps right on top of me every night. He took to this bed immediately! He slept for over 90 minutes in one after I went to bed before he jumped up next to me. And the next morning, he was happy to watch me clean the kitchen nested inside instead of following me every step of the way. At this point, I’m happy to just have a little space! I do hope both dogs get used to them and use them more often.

This bed WAS our dogs’ favorite bed. It is soft, supple and very snuggly. I got this bed as a Christmas present for our four babies. One of the dogs got sick a few days ago on the bed. We took the cover off and washed it. Everything was fine until we went to put the cover back on the stuffing. The zipper is very poorly made and wouldn’t stay zipped The stuffing is large enough that the zipper kept unzipping from the pressure of the stuffing. It unzipped on the *wrong side* over and over again until the cheap plastic piece that slides into the actual zipper at the start of the zip (on high quality zippers, this part is not plastic but metal) broke loose and would no longer allow the zipper to function properly. Mix this with the fact that the shag kept getting caught in the zipper teeth...Please note that I was not abusive while trying to rezip the cover. In fact, I was being very gentle so as not to have it unzip from the wrong direction! This $100 bed lasted 9 months and is now scrap. Too bad the return window is not 9 months or more because I could get my money back. Beware of having to wash this as you may run into the same issue.

Usually my 85lb APBT does not take to new beds very quickly. He got right in this one and was asleep in less than 5 mins. I do wish I had bought one size up from this... he does like to stretch out and idk if this size will accommodate that for him. Totally my fault! We like it a lot. This bed is soft, has a ton of cushion and looks good too!! Doubt I buy anything different moving forward!

My doggie, Penny, loves this bed! ❤️ She has 4 dog beds and this is now her favorite. As soon as I took it out of the box, she went right into it, curled up, and fell into a snoring sleep. 🥰Others have mentioned a smell when taking it out of the box, but I did not smell anything. I haven’t washed the cover yet, so I don’t know how well it will hold up to that. If it turns out badly, I will update the review.I have never spent this much money on one dog bed before, but it is worth it. As much as Penny loves it now, I imagine she’ll love it even more in the winter.**Edited to add that my dog weighs 50 lbs and the medium size bed is perfect for her size.

My senior lab absolutely loves this bed; he spends far less time trying to "fluff it up" than he has with any of the other beds he has had over the years. It stays pretty fluffy for quite awhile but eventually does lose some of its loft as time goes on. The fabric is very tough and stays soft and looks good despite heavy use. Now, the downside; don"t even TRY to take the cover off to wash it. Because the cover fabric is so fluffy, the zipper was hopelessly jammed with fiber from both the top and the bottom. After spending over an hour trying to clip and pull the fiber out of the zipper and only managing to open the zipper about 9 inches, I totally gave up and threw the whole shebang away.That being said, I AM buying another one of these beds because he loves it so but now know it is only good for as long as you can deal with the doggie smell...

Just get it, don’t buy the knock off version. I bought this one and then two cheaper versions for $40 each that I’ll have to donate. I wish I had just spent my money on the original. My 3 Dogs love this bed! They are all large dogs between 45-75 lbs, medium was perfect size.

This was the second dog bed i bought of its kind, the first one i bought(different company)was not as advertised. This one is exactly as described. Very soft and very full. The ring is stuffed nicely the gives just enough resistance to our dogs. I was ably to find an open box for a lot less than new price and im not sure i would've spent the $180 (xl version) on a new one but very happy i found this one
